IN THE CITY OF DREAMS

12: Wake Up!

Crimson's point of view:

I returned to the forest and met up with Evo and his friends. I shared to them the information i gathered during my survey inside the city.

Its normal to see the shock sketched on their faces regarding the news and we actually tried to formulate a plan, but our main concern was how to actually wake up Evo from his deep slumber.

We actually tried different ways to wake him up, Nova tried to make things hot around him so he will get dehydrated and wake up to look for water. Rick tried to shake the ground so he will get shock from the quake. I was actually afraid of doing something bad to him so i let them be.

At night while everyone is sleeping and im on guard, i tried to talk to Evo while he is still asleep.

"Hey baby, the stars are so beautiful tonight and the moon is shining so bright. Wake up so you can see it. Hehe" I stated to Evo hoping he will respond.

"You know what baby, if you wake up, ill definitely let you eat a lot of delicious cuisine and dessert in the mansion so hurry and wake up." Tears are slowly forming in my eyes while im looking at the bright moon and sharing my thoughts with Evo.

"Baby, i want to say sorry. Sorry for not being there for you at times you needed me most, i was suppose to be your guardian yet its like im the one who needs more help than you. You're pretty strong you know, its no wonder why your ability is called Dreamer because you really like to dream to become someone someday right?" I wiped my tears while continuing my little chat with Evo.

"Baby, i think, i think i've fallen... In love...with..." I didn't finish the line because my cheeks are starting to get really red while talking to Evo.

"Ohh, whats wrong with me, grrr" i shook my head while tapping my cheeks.

"By the way baby, i really want to know what you are so afraid of? Lord Gabriel mentioned to me something that our sensory staff saw through you a sense of fear that is why you cannot fully execute your abilities. I hope i can help you conquer your fears and i bet you will become the most powerful person in the city, no! I mean the whole world hehehe." I tried to make a joke just to see if he will react but still no luck.

I then fell asleep with my head resting on Evo's chest.

(Morning)

I was alarmed when Nova shouted.

A group of black ninjas are surrounding us and i saw two of Lady Elena's henchmen floating near towards us.

"Well, well, if it isn't one of the highest order" one of the henchmen spoke.

They took off their hoods and they are two gorgeous ladies with some tattoos on their face.

Rick and Nova ran behind me and i ordered Rick to carry Evo and run far away.

"How did you find us?" I questioned them.

"Its quite simple for a psychic young Zephyr. I actually read your Lord's mind because i saw that his mask was took off when i visited him and that means somone must have been inside their cell, how simply foolish of you to make that simple mistake." One of the henchmen answered and its probably Kishin the level 5 psychic.

"Enough talk and handover the Dreamer peacefully." One of the henchmen stated straightforwardly.

"You need to pass through me first!" I stated sounding like challenging her.

"You just dug your own grave." She stated and attacked me with a laser like beam from the four shining orbs that rotates around her.

I defended using a wall of wind around me but it seems that her attack is much stronger than mine that made me step back a bit.
