Chapter 2

"Crap I forgot my glasses!" Kal-El whined about to turn around on his heels. Rosalie pulled him down a little by his red tie to her level with one hand. With the other hand she slowly slipped on his glasses with a smile on his face "There you are Mr. Kent." He smiled pulling hers out that were hanging on her dress and did the same.

"There you are Ms. Doe." He slipped his hand in hers twirling her around holding her her waist Beginning to walk to work. "What time do you want to have lunch?" Rosalie ask looking up at him seeing him make a face thinking. "Umm...what about at one? Does that work?"

He kissed her forehead "Of course it is. I'll come over at the office to get you?" He nodded "sounds like a plan." The two reached Daily Planet. Kal-El's work. Yes he worked with Lois everyday at work. Lois was nice and sweet to him but she flirted with him lot something he didn't think she was doing but did.

"Well I will see you at one then." He pulled to her playing with her hair. "See you at lunch darling." She pecked his lips seeing her red lipstick on his lips. She looked down at her watch "you have three minutes exactly," his eyes widen and he hurried in to work "and you have lipstick on your lips!" She called with a chuckle.

She began walking down the block from Daily Planet to her job. Kal-El seeing that no one was down the hallway he cheated using his super sped to upstairs then walked normal into the office wiping his lips. Steve a few coworker of Kal-El's who had this grin on his face at him then looked up at the clock "two minutes to spare."

"Yeah I got caught up with my girlfriend." He explained nervous feeling his other friends eyes on him. "Oh wow I didn't mean it in that way." Lois rolled her eyes letting out a low hiss hearing about Rosalie. Kal-El went over and sat at his desk bringing work. Steve snorted lightly at Lois.

Jenny turned around facing in Kal-El's direction "So when are you and Jane going you know going to settle down and start a family?" Kal-El shocked at her question choked on water he drinking. His face got red "I-I-I-I uh...I don't know...we said we're waiting." Lois smiled behind the newspaper she was reading.

"You two been together for almost a year and you two are in love. I can see it. You are meant to be together." The human proved a point. Steve joined in the conversion "Look Clark I know it's not any of our business you should at least get her a promise ring." The both humans were right that's something Kal-El wanted.

Seeing he was in deep thought Jenny and Steve winked at each other getting caught by Lois who didn't like this at all "Well just because they've been dating for almost year doesn't mean anything. Clark you don't even know anything about her childhood it's that weird?" Kal-El sighed

"Yeah I guess but her childhood was terrible so I understand if she doesn't want to tell me. She tell me when it's the right time 'Lois'." He said her name in a slight rude tone getting back to work. Lois was taken back by his tone and sat back down. Steve and Kenny exchanged glances.

'Perhaps I should listen to them. I'll ask my mother what she thinks of this.' Kal-El sighed to himself. A few hours passed almost time for a lunch break. Rosalie couldn't wait for lunch time she got hungry really fast. "Jane! Jane dear we got two more tables can you take them please?" One of her coworkers Julia asked as they were in the kitchen and the human was grabbing the food.

Rosalie grabbed her pen "Yeah of course," she walked over to a small table with a single mother and her two sons. "hello there I'm Jane and I'll be your waitress today. Can I get you any drinks?" She asked the small family. The woman was young still middle twenties, long red hair and green eyes. Pretty. Her sons were the opposite. Both were about four or five years old. Brown hair. Blue eyes.

"Yes can I get a Dr. Pepper and them strawberry lemonades?" Rosalie nodded writing it down just in case "Yes of course. Ill get those for you as soon as possible." The mother bowed her head "Thank you." Rosalie was writing down something as she approached the next table. He was an much older man with brown hair and brown eyes. Rosalie's eyes widen when he looked up at her with a serious face making her hand fly up to her mouth "No it cant be." He grinned "We need to talk."
