Sad Memories

VANESSA'S POV

"It is a surprise Vanessa .I told you last night .", he replied .

After realizing that he won't be telling anything I started looking out at the lush-green trees on the sides of the road .Yes thank god that we were out of London .

When you are in London you don't really have time to look around yourself ,you don't have time for yourself .When you are fixed in a jam on the streets full of cars you really don't think of such things .So right now I was making the full use of the time I had to see the trees pass by like they were waving to me .

Suddenly my attention was drawn back to the car and Niall when there was this music playing on ,it was like " You're insecure,Don't know what for , you're turning heads when you walk through the door ...."

I gave Niall a look of I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO SAY . I really don't know how he took it and he was like," I am sorry I will change the song ."

"Hey ,why ?I love this song .Dare you change it." I said .

He just looked at me with complete surprise as since we met he never thought that I would be listening to pop songs and especially 'HIS' songs .

I got that look on his face and then I told him ,"Okay ,I don't give me that look .I will tell you everything if you stop staring at me like that ."

"Okay then start .",he said.

"Okay so, Vanessa Williams was not like that always how you saw her at Nandos'. I was really different 2 years back . I was like one of those spoilt kids of a rich father ,don't get me wrong I was not that bad but not so good as well .I was one of that teen girls who would dance on the bed when a one direction song would be playing ,then all that fan-girling stuff which most of the girls do was also done by me.I loved going to concerts especially one direction concerts as you all are and were really I don't know what .Sorry I am saying this but yes you guys are really hot .But then every thing changed ."

"How ? tell me what happened ?", he said .

"That night I had come back from a movie and when i entered the house I still remember that argument that was happening:

Dad was shouting at the top of his voice,"You can't be dreaming of such small things ,Jake."

Then Jake  began shouting ,"Dreams are not at all small or big they are just dreams but you won't understand dad."

"What would you earn by just catching that guitar in your hand .",dad said .

"I am not doing this because I want money dad I am doing this because I love doing it ."

"Love for what you are doing is not going to give you food to eat nor will it give you the lifestyle you are leading today ."

"I am not concerned with the life I would be leading the thing is that I would be happy and I want to be happy that's it ."

"If that's what you want then leave right now ,be with you happy and satisfied life .You say you don't need this life and all of this money. Right? So leave at this very moment .I don't want you to stay in this house any longer ."

"I am also not wanting to live here ,Dad. What you have built is not a house it's just a huge mansion and I am not interested in living here any longer ."

"Then why are you standing here ,leave. Leave immediately ."

"What are you saying ,George? Son , we would talk about this tomorrow morning .",mom said .

"No. Mom I and Dad cannot come on good terms again and I am not interested in favour of to sacrifice my passion for this reason that my dad wants me to handle his business. Sorry but I can't mom . Forgive me I can't."

Then in about an hour he packed his bags and came downstairs ,kept all his credo=it cars and wallet on the table and left to never come back ."

"So what happened then ?",Niall asked eagerly .

"That night when we were sleeping mom came running and woke us up .Dad felt very uneasy with a pain in his chest .We immediately rushed to the hospital . Till it was morning we were sitting outside ,then the doctor came over and he told us that this was because of tension ,a lot of tension .When we asked that can we meet him ,he said that we could but dad first wanted to meet me .So I went to him and sat on the the chair next to his bed . he opened his eyes .

"Dad how do you feel now .",I asked .

"Much better my child ."

"Dad why are you taking so much of tension don't worry everything will be fine ."

"I know Vanessa that everything will be fine till you are here ."

"Tell me dad what can I do for you .I would do anything you tell me to do ."

"Vanessa I want you to take over."

"But dad..."

"I believe that you won't deny me ,I have been working for so long I need some rest ,I need some time alone and with your mother .All this time I was not able to be with her but now i don't want to waste any more time .Please child can you do this for me."

"Dad...."

But when I said this I saw that he was looking at me with all his hope .So I said

"Dad, I would definitely do that for you .Don't worry ."

And since then this is what Vanessa Williams is . I am nothing more than the CEO of THE WILLIAMS .I don't have any life beyond files , conferences, foreign clients etc for the last two years ."

"Why did you tell l me that you didn't know me when we first met .",he asked .

"Because I did not want you to know that i know you but when I talked to you I had butterflies in my stomach ."

He just laughed at this .

"What? I really had butterflies in my stomach . I felt like that "

"Don't worry Vanessa ,it would be all fine don't worry .I would help you get out of this boring life .I would help you to get back that Vanessa that was there 2 years back .",he said .

"Thank you for at least saying that. No one other than Char has said the in the last 2 years .

And then suddenly there happened something that should not be happening .

"SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" was all that both of us could say .
