Chapter 22

Lilly POV*
Jacob and I get out at the smoothie shop and walk in. I've never actually been here before so I don't know what's good. "Hey,what do you recommend cause I've never been here before so I have no idea what to get" I ask him "hmmmmm I reckon either the summer set or Tropicana" he replies "I think I will get the summer set! That looks so good" I say "Yeah I'm getting that too!" He tells me. We go up to the register to order but as I'm pulling out my money he takes my purse so I can't pay. "Jacobbbbbbbb" I say "Lillllyyyyy" he replies mocking me. "Why did you pay I could've done it!" I say sternly "well the girl should never pay on the date Lil, and when I am pretty sure I am the guy here and your the girl." He tells me smirking "wow true gentleman right here folks" I say

So Jacob and I are currently walking to dance really slowly while talking. "How'd you like the date?" He asks shyly "My best one yet for sure!" I tell him to boost his self esteem "Really?!" He says excitedly "yep! Cause I was with you" I say a little quietly while blushing "aw Lilly's blushing" he says loudly "oh my god stop" I say covering my face "don't hide your even cuter when you blush" he tells me removing my hands "you realise that makes me blush more" I tell him "I do now" he replies smirking. As we are walking I keep feeling his hand brush against mine and then he finally grabs it, making me look down and smile. By now we have reached the studio and are walking in to squeals of Chloe.

It felt like we were the only people there until Chloe started squealing. We both got shy and let go saying bye and then walking away. I of course walk over to chlo. "Oh my god Lil you two are seriously goals!" She tells me "um we aren't dating" I reply "yet" she adds at the end "sooooo how was it!?" She asks "It was really good but I have to go to my duo rehearsal see ya later"

"Hey where's J?" I ask Kate walking into the studio "I'm not sure" she replies smirking "okay then" I say. Then i feel two arms wrap around my waist and a pair of lips on my cheek. I was about to freak until I could smell the cologne belonging to Jacob and relaxed. "I'm right here lil" he whispered in my ear and then said hey to Kate. "So is there something going on here that I need to know about?" She asks smirking "Nope" we both say and then start stretching "well then" Kate says

"Okay guys this solo is looking absolutely amazing! In case you forgot nationals is on the weekend and today was our last practise since we have to be on the bus tomorrow to get there. Now I want you both to go home and have a good sleep and I will see you here tomorrow at 6am" Kate tells us. I see Chloe smirking at me so I glare at her. Then Jacobs twin goes and stands next to Chloe and starts smirking at him which I see him glare at her also. "Cmon Lil I will walk you to your car like the gentleman I am." He tells me "okay let's go then" I say "sure thing" he says extending his hand for me, which I gladly accept. We walk straight past the girls and outside. "Here you go Lil. Have a good night and I will see you here tomorrow. Also, do you wanna sit with me on the bus?" He asks getting shy at the end "thanks J and of course I will!!" I tell him. I see Chloe and his sister walk out side so we say our goodbyes "see ya J" I say hugging him "bye Lil" he replies and then kisses my cheek walking away.

I get in the car and ignore everything.... Not purposely though.... I can't get Jacob out of my head but I also can't get Hayes out of my head either. When we get home I decide to call Cam.

C= how you holding up?
L= Better then expected actually. I kind met a boy
C= really already? Good for you, better expect the overprotective brother side to come out when I see him
L= HAHAHAH Cameron!! Yeah the only thing is I still can't get Hayes out of my head, but I really like Jacob
C=Well I say go for Jacob since Hayes cheated on you. But it's really your choice you can't help what your heart wants.
L=thanks Cam. I will. We actually met at dance, he's my new duet partner and we are dancing together at nationals!OH! We also went on a date today and he's so cute and he held my hand and then at dance he kissed me on the cheek and his hugs are so warm and he smells ama-
C=LILLY!!! Your rambling again! HAHAHAHA!! I can tell you really like this guy.
L=Is it that obvious?
C= Well considering you were just rambling over him.,.. Yea
L= oh god okay... Cam I really miss you
C= I know lil I miss you too! One month down, two to go okay.
L=okay, I have to go now since I have to be up early for the bus to Cali. Bye I love you
C= Bye Lilly. I love you so much!
