I sat down at my coffee table, looking through my journal from the night before.
Sam Winchester.
Sam. Winchester.
Who is he?
Well who ever he is, he's about to be in deep shit. I tried not to worry to much, because I have dreams all the time ( because of my psychic abilities and all). But this was like no dream I'd ever had before. Lucifer, Crowley, Angels, 'Sam Winchester' and another guy who was there trying to protect him. It's not like I don't believe in that stuff, I mean, I am part of that world. I know about the world that no one wants to believe exists. I mean I even hunt things occasionally, teaming up with hunters.
But this dream made me feel exactly like how I'd felt when I had my first dream; In disbelief. And scared out of my wits.
My phone rang suddenly and it almost made me jump out of my skin.
"Son of a bitch!" I whinged, grabbing the phone.
"Hello?" I ask absentmindedly, my thoughts had already trailed back to the Winchester dream.
"Hey, it's Hannah, you alright?". I sighed in relief; it was my best friend.
"Oh hey! I'm fine just thinking about a really weird dream I had last night..."
"How weird?" She questioned, because I mean, having visions/dreams due to psychic abilities is already pretty much a 7/10 on the scale of weirdness.
"Like 9/10. But actually you're the person I wanted to talk to, you know a lot of other hunters right?"
"Are you kidding?" she asked rhetorically.
"You're right," she has been hunting since we were kids "Sam Winchester ring a bell?"
"Oh god"
"What..." I asked worriedly. I almost don't want to hear it.
"It rings a bell alright... What did you say this dream was about?". I already knew how she was feeling, and my psychic abilities didn't have to tell me for once. It was in her voice. She sounded tense and worried.
"Well, Lucifer himself actually, and Crowley... Even an Angel decided to drop in on this dream" I scoffed to myself. If I didn't poke some sort of fun at my 'abilities' then I would go mad.
"Shit" was all she said.
"Shit what? Hannah who the hell is this guy?"
"Sam Winchester and his brother Dean are the best 2 hunters around"
"Dean?"
"His brother"
That must've been the guy trying to protect him in my dream.
"Go on...""Well they've gotten themselves into some dark stuff over the years, but I never thought Lucifer would-"
"Dark stuff like?"
"Like selling their souls"
"Oh great" I roll my eyes "How does that even work?". How am I supposed to read their aura if they don't have souls. While Hannah explained, I slipped into a vision without any warning at all.
~ vision ~
I looked around, surrounded by black nothing. I felt like I was floating through oblivion. In the distance I hear a noise. A human noise. I strained to hear. The noise grew louder. It was a chuckle. A sick, satisfied chuckle.
"Whose there?" I call out, looking around me for a body.
Screams.
Men's screams. Womens screams. Childrens cries. I crouch down, putting my hands over my ears and squeezing tight. Over the shouts for mercy, a low voice speaks.
"The darkness is coming"
"STOP! STOP!" I screamed shaking my head frantically. I had to get out of this vision. Footsteps came closer and I opened my eyes. But in front of me was no more darkness, just my apartment. I ran my hands through my hair in an effort to try and come back to my senses. Faintly, I heard a voice asking me if I was there. Hannah. I picked up the phone again.
"Sorry, I had a vision. Look I think it's really important that I check out these guys, can you tell me where they might be?"
"Scar, if what you're seeing is... I, I don't know what's going to happen because they're usually the ones saving everyone else. What happens when the heroes need saving?". Shit. I drummed my fingers on the table, trying to come up with a solution that didn't exist. Right now, whatever I said to her was only temporary.
"Look Hannah, it'll be okay. Just tell me where I can find them so I can give them a decent heads up then hey?" I joked sarcastically. For a tough hunter, she had a soft spot when it came to certain things.
"Okay, please don't get to close. I think this could be really serious."
"I know, don't worry Hannah I've done this before I'm sure it's nothing that bad"
"Alright" she sighed, "they're at Tennessee at the moment, somewhere near a bar called Jenny's"
"Thanks Hannah, love you"
"Love you right back".
I hung up and looked around my empty apartment. Guess I'm going on a road trip...
