Danny changed into Phantom and we phased through the floor to get to the basement. We opened the portal and went through closing it behind us.
We flew to the FarFrozen and of course Frostbite greeted us warmly. "Welcome back Great one and Wolf of Fire. What brings you to the FarFrozen?"
"We came because you and your people are the only ones I trust to keep something safe." I said seriously. Frostbite got serious and said, "Come, we will talk in the hall of weapons." We nodded and followed Frostbite though the kingdom.Frostbite closed the door to the hall of weapons behind Danny and I. Frostbite then turned to us and asked, "What do you need me to keep safe?" I took the small orb of energy out of my leather jacket's inside pocket. "I need this you to keep this out of the wrong hands." I handed the orb to Frostbite and he put it in 3 more layers of ghost ice. Then he put it in an ice case and sealed the case shut. "Is that all wolf of fire?" he asked. I nodded and said, "Yes, Frostbite and thank you for your help."
"Anything for the Great One and his pet wolf." Danny's breath caught in his throat as I tried to hold back the rage stirring up in my core. Through gritted teeth I asked, "What did you call me?" He caught on to my mood change and thought about what he said. "My apologies Wolf of Fire I didn't mean to offend you." he said with a small hint of fear. I took a deep breath and attempted to calm myself down, the key word here is attempted. I turned to Danny and said, "We're either going to do some training or go to Clockwork's. Which is it?" Without hesitation he said, "Clockwork here we come!" He flew out of the room as fast as he could. I shook my head and laughed a little. Then, I got serious as I looked at Frostbite, "Don't ever call me something as offensive as pet again." I flew after Danny who was already a quarter of the way to Clockwork's tower.Danny POV...
I was flying kinda slow so that Fire could easily catch up with me. I saw a blur of orange pass me and I raced after it.
The orange blur turned out to be Fire and see was panting. "What... Took you... So long." she asked looking exhausted. I ignored her and continued to walk in with her close behind. "Hey, Clocky!" she shouted. "Hello Fire, Danny. What brings you here?"
"You already know why we're here." she said rolling her eyes and crossing her arms. Clockwork smirked and said, "Yes I do. The small orb will be safe." She nodded and asked, "You think you could whip us into shape? We'll need it with the GIW on our tails and no one comment on that." Clockwork chuckled while I snickered earning a glare from Fire Wolf. "I suppose I could think of something." He took a moment and pointed at Fire, "You need to work on being able to keep your fire lit at all times." She huffed and muttered fine. Clockwork pointed at me and said, "You need to be more durable because you run out of energy too fast and certain things like electricity can take you down easily." I nodded and turned to Fire, "Do you have your stinger yet?" She bit her lip and sighed, "Yes I do, but I think I have too much power already so I don't use it." I put a hand on her shoulder and said, "I'll be fine... Just do it." She looked at Clockwork and he nodded she took in a shaky breath and summoned the stinger. The electricity coursed through my body and I let out a scream. I could tell that she was silently crying, but kept going. I gritted my teeth and stood up. She kept crying and she nodded at me letting me know that I could do what I had to do.Fire Wolf POV...
Danny let out his ghostly wail, knocking me back and almost putting out my fire. I was then slammed into the wall and slumped. My head dangled for a moment, but then the rage took over. My head snapped up, my eyes red and glaring at Danny. I yanked myself out of the wall and started to walking toward him.
Flames danced across my finger tips, my claws extended, and I snarled at him.
