Fire Wolf POV...

I watched Danny squirm under my gaze and I found myself being pushed down further into the darkness. I saw the fear in his glowing green eyes and I laughed. "This is going to be fun." I sneered. He shuttered and scrambled to his feet. "Don't do this Fire." he said trying to sound menacing. I laughed again and asked, "Why should I? This is going to be very good practice for you." I shot a fire ball at him, only for him to dodge it. I attacked him again and I could tell that he was holding back. "Why are you going easy on me? I know that you can give me a few good hits."
"I don't want to fight you Fire Wolf." he stated. My rage was driving me insane as it dragged my better half down further. "It's either fight me or... you will die." I felt my core throb and send a painful burn through my body. I was going against my obsession by saying that. I gritted my teeth and clenched my fists fighting back tears and the need to protect him. I wanted to push past the rage so badly and make sure that he was safe, but there was no way I could.

Danny POV...

Fire's eyes were blood red and filled with pain and rage as she threw another fire ball at me. I knew that there was no way I could get her to snap out of it anytime soon so I shot back. She smiled and said, "That's more like it." She roared as she charged at me, claws itching to draw blood. I side stepped and she turned around eyes blazing and claws glistening. She growled and narrowed her eyes at me. The fur on her back stood on end as she bared her teeth and went down on all fours.
She told me about this stance and I saw her use it while hunting. She told me that when she went into this stance it was always to kill.

Fire Wolf POV...

"Fire, don't do something you might regret. You know that when you do that stance it's to kill." He was right, I didn't want to kill him. I was angry and the rage I felt pushed the better part of myself down into the darkness. My eyes flashed silver for a moment before going back to red. Apparently Danny noticed because he said, "Fire, I've seen you recover from worse. I know you can come back from this because your eyes just turned silver." My rage diminished slightly, but just enough for me to start shaking it off.
My stance relaxed so much that my fingers were just barely touching the floor. Danny stepped closer to me being very cautious as he did. My flames flared up in an empty threat. He continued to shuffle closer to me until he was an arms length away. I growled at the hand that was about to stroke my fur. The anger, rage, and most of the pain melted away when he ran his gloved hand through my fur. I grasped my head in an effort to stop the headache that I knew was coming. I stood up straight and wobbled until I fell to my knees. "Good to have you back Fire." he teased. I huffed at first, then smirked and asked, "You missed me that much, huh?" Danny rolled his eyes and helped me up off the floor. "Wait, why didn't Clockwork help you?" I asked. "That was your training session. Besides, I knew that you wouldn't kill him because of course I know everything." Clockwork said smirking. "Well, now that that's over and done with let's head home." I said. Danny shrugged and waved goodbye to Clockwork.
We were almost home when I smelled the GIW close by. Not only that, but the scent contained a hint of the Fenton family in it. My eyes widened when I realized that Danny's parents let the GIW into the ghost zone.
