Walking home with Kagami after school the next day, you found yourself deep in thought about your situation with your boyfriend and Oikawa. Usually, a best friend's intuition was better than a lover's, and it was true that you had known Oikawa and Iwaizumi a lot longer than Kagami. So of course, you'd trust in their judgments more but... What happens if I end up losing them because of my involvement with Kagami-kun? I can't lose them, and they wouldn't just leave me like that anyways! Would they...? You were snapped out of your thoughts by the sound of Kagami calling your name.

He tapped you on your forehead. "Hello? (Y/N)? Anyone home?" He peered down at you curiously.

You caught his hand and pushed it away from you. "Y-Yeah, sorry bout that. What were you asking?"

"I was asking if you wanted to see a movie with me this Saturday at 11:30 am. It's a comedy romance, thought you might want to see it."

"Oh yeah sure!" You accepted the invitation, smiling at him.

"Great," He looked down at you grinning. "I'll pick you up at 10:30."

Saturday had finally rolled around. Locking your phone after another late night session of reading fanfictions of your otp, you placed it on the bedside table next to you and settled into your blankets. Ah yes, that was nice. A greatly written story with a mix of fluff and a dash of angst. My favorite. Checking the time on your phone quickly before sleeping, your eyes widened in surprise. You groaned to yourself, internally of course as to not wake up any family members. Aw crap! 8 am already?! Dammit (Y/N), you done did it again. Sighing, you turned to face your wall and curled up, hugging your (favorite animal) plushie next to you tightly. Might as well get some sleep now before I fall asleep during the movie.

About an hour later, you shot up in bed to the obnoxious sound of your alarm that you for sure wouldn't sleep through this time. Turning it off, you yawned and rubbed the sleepiness out of your eyes. Whelp, time to get ready then.

Freshening up in the bathroom, you tidied up your hair so it was no longer the massive lion's mane it always was in the mornings. You went to the kitchen to pop two pieces of bread in the toaster while you got dressed.

You picked out something casual, denim jeans and a white shirt with a (favorite color) hoodie that had a cat print on the front. Putting on the hoodie, you heard the sound of your toast being finished and went over to spread (favorite topping) on them before eating them.

Looking at the time, you saw that it was only 10. Great, I got a little extra time before Rei comes. Just as you were settling on the couch to relax, you heard the doorbell ring. Man, just sat down too. You grumbled to yourself as you went to see who it was. Opening the door, you found Kagami standing outside sporting a black hoodie and jeans. "Rei? Aren't you, uh, a little early?"

"Yeah I know, but I accidentally woke up and got ready really early cos I was excited, so I decided to just come over early," He readjusted his glasses. "Sorry for not texting you first. Wanted to surprise you."

"Oh no, it's fine. I'm actually ready to go," You reassured him, waving your hand in dismissal. Putting your shoes on, you called out to your parents. "Mom, dad, Rei is here so I'm going now--"

You were answered by sleepy responses of "Have fun," and "Love you, honey,".

"Love you both too, I'll see you later!" You called before leaving with Kagami. Closing the door behind you, you turned to your boyfriend who was holding out his hand to you. "Let's go, shall we?" You asked, taking his warm hand into yours.

Movie theater food was great in your opinion. A little on the expensive side, but at least it tasted good at the theater you went to.

Three seconds into the previews, and you had already consumed just about half of your popcorn, much to Kagami's amusement.

When the actual movie came around, Kagami pretended to stretch, looking away from you but smiling, and put his arm around you. How cliche. You thought to yourself, laughing softly as you leaned into him, resting your head on his shoulder, making him happy.

When the movie finally finished, the two of you got up and stretched your arms out before exiting the room. Chatting away about the film and how cheesy it was, you spotted two familiar faces among the crowd of people in the theater lobby.

Oh crap. You made eye contact with a certain brunette who was coming up to you with a blackette in tow.

"(Y/N)-chan, what are you doing here with him?" Oikawa asked coldly, glaring at Kagami standing next to you. "You were supposed to be with us! I texted you a bunch and you never answered your phone. I bet you never even checked it, did you?"

Upon that accusation, you fished your phone out of your pocked real quick to find that you had ten missed texts from Oikawa. "Oikawa-kun, I'm really sorry I forgot-"

"You forgot?" Oikawa's eyes widened in disbelief as he gaped at you, Iwaizumi looking disappointed behind him. "(Y/N)-chan, we always go to these movies on opening day together. Always. How could you just-" He spluttered, looking for words in fury. "You're a liar, (Y/N)-chan. A liar, that's what you are." He glared at both you and Kagami before turning to Iwaizumi. "Come on Iwa-chan, we got a movie to catch." He began storming off to the room where you were going to watch Star Wars with your two friends.

"Iwaizu-" You started, pleading with your eyes for Iwaizumi to forgive you.

"Sorry (Y/N), but please save it for another time. I can't talk to you right now." He walked off to follow Oikawa, leaving you hanging.

After a few minutes of silence and standing around in the same place, Kagami put his hand on your shoulder to try and comfort you. "Hey y'know what? Screw those guys. You have me at least."

"Sorry Rei, but not right now. Can you drop me off home please?" You asked in a flat tone.

"Y-Yeah, sure. Sorry."

"You're a liar, (Y/N)-chan."

It had been what you feared all along. The loss of your best friends, whom you had been with for as long as you had known. And now, you've let them down.

Ironically, the shirt that Oikawa was wearing had a print with an alien that said 'I don't believe in humans'. Oh man. You really screwed up this time.

Heeeeyyy I know it's been forever since I last updated this, sorry hahaha

Man, poor Oikawa.

Also, I have decided that this story will probably be about 10 chapters, since I think that'll be how long it'll take to wrap everything up idk. I guess we'll see when we get there.

And as always, thanks for reading!
