Blast From The Past ?

Early in the morning I woke up and looked down at my sleeping babies I took the advantage while they were sleep to get up and shower. I grabbed my black shorts and white t and headed to the shower. As I was washing up I kept thinking about how my parents would react to me having twins. I washed my hair and then I started cursing because now its going to stay curly. I turned the water off and began drying off and putting my clothes on. Once I finished putting my hair in a bun. I got Jayla dressed and she was fussing her head off. Yup that's her dads groggy attitude, Jayda on the other hand wasn't fussing. she was smiling and giggly. I love my baby's I put them in the carseats and sat them by the door. I started grabbing my bags and headed to grab the girls and leave but my phone started ringing. I sighed and sat everything down to see who it was. As I pulled it out for some reason I was happy to see Jake call. I quickly slid the green button over and answered.

Bre- hello?

Jay- hey babe how was yalls night?

Bre- it was good actually yours?

Jay- horrible I need my girls back in my life I miss and love y'all please come home babe.

Bre- we are just not now we love you to I just need space from each other ok, but I have to go the girls love you most importantly I love you.

Jay- I love y'all to call me soon please and be safe.

Bre- ok we will bye

I hung up and picked everything up and headed to the lobby. The lady was pretty bummed that we were leaving so early, lol didn't know she would get attached so soon. As I was getting in the car I turned to the back seat and Jayla was smiling then I looked over at Jayda and she had the same smile on her face I couldn't help but smile, then I followed where their eyes went it was a picture of me and Jay when we first met. I just smiled and tears started coming I wiped my eyes and turned around and headed to my mom's house.

As we where driving I decided I'd call my brother on the way. I dialed his number waiting for an answer, damn this nigga sees me calling, on the 8th ring he answered.

bre- damn nigga took you forever.

roc- nigga you not that important what chu want lil sis.

bre- just checking on you.

roc- already where you and my nieces?

bre- we are headed to Atlanta to spend time with mom and dad.

roc- nigga you left me? that's that hoe shit, you better bring me some.food back, and I'm not playing.

bre- yeah yeah yeah whatever, ill call you later butt.

roc- ok love you mouth.

bre- love you to bye.

As I hung up I looked at the sign we we're approaching and it said we was forty minutes away. The more closer we got the more nervous I got. I was on alot of toll roads so time was speeding as I turned on Mason street I saw all the old houses we used to play at.

It brought so many memories back, I did a right turn onto Nolan road and saw my moms house, it was still that firetruck red color with pink roses all over the yard I smiled as we approached. Once I pulled up in the driveway, I let out a huge breath and released my grip on the wheel.

I opened my door and stepped out. Well here goes nothing, I opened the backseat doors and took Jayla and Jayda out and sat their seats on the pavement, I grabbed their diaper bags and shut my door. I locked the car, cause you can't trust these people out here.

I picked the girls up and went up the walkway, I was starting to shake, once I reached the door I stood there debating on if I should knock or just turn around. I sighed and did a light knock on the door. I waited for about 5 minutes still no answer I knocked harder and I heard someone say I'm coming. I looked around and I heard the locks unlock. The door swung open and I couldn't believe me eyes.
