When the hospital called me on Friday I waited with bated breath for the news, they told me Sky had passed the operation with excellent results and was now fit and healthy I asked when I could go and see her, and they told me I could go and see her on Sunday I texted Donnie and told him the good news and they sent me a video conference were they were whopping and shouting "thank you!" and "I can't believe she got through it!" on Sunday we all sprinted into the room and there she was, grinning and rosy cheeked. We didn't cry but I could tell that Raph was near tears, She smiled at us but looked at Leo straight in the eye and said "you found it then?" "Yes" said Leo "yes I did" Sky then looked at the others who looked puzzled, she then began to tell us that when she lived with the turtles fifteen years earlier she had kept a scrapbook and had filled it with family photos and other things whenever she was alone because she knew that one day she would get seriously hurt and she wanted to make the boys know how much they meant to her and to all the other people that loved them for who they were. "So why did you do it?" I asked, "What do you mean?" "Why did you make this scrapbook for them anyway?" "Because" she said, "Because I wanted them to understand that family isn't always blood, it's the people who have been involved in their life since the beginning, who want you in theirs; the ones that accept you for who you are, the ones who would do anything to see you smile and who love you no matter what." Sky then suddenly turned towards the window and she suddenly seem to start to wave to someone so we all looked toward the window...
When the turtles and April looked out the window they saw a spectacular sight, there seemed to be millions of people, no not just people but mutants too! There was a whole crowd of them waving and shouting, there were even a few that Leo recognized from their photos in the scrapbook, the mutant wolf girl with wings, the black girl with the flaming pink hair and many others and they were all holding up a huge banner that read: "WE ARE FAMILY!"
