Two months went by and Grace was back to making at least two videos a week and Lilly was growing each and every day. Hannah and Mamrie were helping Grace with all the editing she had to do because between filming, editing, and taking care of Lilly, Grace had her hands full. Naturally, in typical Grace fashion, she tried doing everything herself but soon realized that she just wasn't going to be able to do everything. Obviously Lilly came first so filming and editing had to come second and third. Grace limited the amount of pictures and videos of Lilly that went online. She liked her private life private and now that includes her daughter. Occasionally she would post a picture of Lilly on Instagram or have a clip of her in FriDiary but usually it was just Grace being Grace.
One Friday while she was editing her latest FriDiary Grace was struck with a moment of actual human emotions and it scared her. Not because she was feeling actual human feelings but because it was sentimental emotions. Emotions like 'wow my life has changed so much' and 'I can't believe I didn't want kids because Lilly is just wonderful'. The longer Grace thought about these emotions the more it scared her. Needing someone to talk to Grace calls someone who can help her get out all the human emotions and get back to her usual robotic self.
"Han?" Grace says timidly into her phone.
"Grace? You okay? You sound scared."
"Uh I need....I need help."
"What's wrong? Is Lilly okay? Are you okay? Is Goose okay?" Hannah quickly says.
"Yeah, yeah I'm fine. Lilly's fine. Goose is fine. It's just I'm feeling human emotions and I need...I need..." Grace trailed off.
"You want me to come over?" Hannah asks sensing that Grace needs her physically present.
"Uh yeah...I mean if you can't that's fine"
"I'll be there in 15 minutes"
And with a click Hannah hung up.
True to her word Hannah showed up fifteen minutes later with lactose free ice cream and a listening ear. Eventually Grace went back to her normal self and they decided that they were gonna watch a movie while Grace finished editing.

At seven months old Lilly was learning how to walk. She could stand up if someone was holding her hands but she hadn't mastered the putting one foot in front of another yet. But that would soon come to pass. On a Saturday Mamrie and Hannah were at Grace's house and with Grace's arms wide open Lilly took her first steps. Grace cried tears of happiness while both Mamrie and Hannah filmed the entire thing knowing Grace would want the footage. Soon it came time for Lilly's nap and she just wouldn't go down. Grace tried everything. Nursing her didn't work. Rocking her didn't work. Humming to her didn't work. Hannah eventually took over in trying to get her to go down. While walking around Grace's living room and softly singing Ur the 1Z, Lilly fell asleep.
At nine months old, Lilly was growing up and fast. She could walk a few steps before falling and she was beginning to climb on everything so Grace had to keep a watchful eye on her. At this point all of Grace's fans were continually asking for updates on Lilly so at the end of her videos Grace would give a small update on her daughter. The fans loved it.
When it came time for Lilly's first birthday, Lilly was more mobile than ever. Grace had toys scattered around her living room and sometimes she could hardly see the floor. Hannah and Mamrie planned a small birthday party and invited their small YouTube family. When everyone arrived Grace couldn't have been more overwhelmed with gratitude. The party was a success and since Lilly had been playing with everything she went down for her nap easily. While she napped the adults talked and hung out.
"So Grace what are you gonna do about VidCon and Playlist?" Tyler asked.
Grace really hadn't thought about that. She knew she was going to both conventions and that she would be doing her own meet up, a trinity meet up, and a trinity panel.
"I'm not sure yet. I'm going to both and obviously Lilly will be there but I'm going to try and keep her away from the fans as much as possible."

Grace, Mamrie, and Hannah were all arriving at VidCon together and when they arrived they found there car surrounded by fans trying to get a glimpse of them. Lilly was napping in her mothers arms and Grace really didn't want her to be woken up.
"If they wake Lilly up I'm going to go all crazy on them." Grace states while looking out the window.
"Do you want me to get out first and tell them to shut up?" Mamrie asked. Grace knew full well if she said yes that Mamrie would have no problem doing it.
"Thanks Mames, but just tell them that Lilly is sleeping and I don't really want her woken up." Grace replied. So Mamrie did just that and the fans were quiet when Grace got out of the car with Lilly.
Grace was lucky that she was able to keep the fans from Lilly but she knew that soon that would come to and end. Tyler had agreed to watch Lilly while Grace, Mamrie, and Hannah did their trinity meet up and of course that's when Lilly had a meltdown. Lilly wouldn't stop crying. She didn't want Tyler or anyone else to hold her. She just kept screaming for Mommy. Eventually Tyler gave up in trying and had to get Grace to calm her kid down. The security guard got the trios attention and they had Ken pause the meet and greet.
When Lilly was back in her mothers arms she immediately calmed down.
"Ssshhh baby, it's okay. Mommy's here." Grace said softly into her daughters ear. Lilly calmed and laid her head down on her mothers shoulder and went to sleep to the gentle rocking Grace was doing.
"Sorry for interrupting your meet up. She just wouldn't calm down. I tried everything." Tyler apologized.
"It's okay. She's never been away from me for this long so she's not used to it." Grace said as she headed Tyler her sleeping child.
Hannah, Mamrie, and Grace returned to their meet up and got to meet everyone in line.
That night when Grace was finally alone with Lilly they just spent time together. Just mother and daughter.
