I woke up with a prominent ache in my neck. Enabling me from turning it to the right at all. They could have at least let me sleep in the bed and tie me up in the morning. Or they could have turned the TV on for some kind of entertainment for me.
I straightened up in my chair when footsteps echoed throughout the small basement I was currently being held hostage in. "Let's go boys" Was muffled through the door before it swung open and in walked not five, but six figures.
Niall walked down first, followed by Zayn, then Harry, Louis, and Liam. But the person who was the last to stand before me caused my breath to intake shakily.
Clyde.
"What the hell?" I asked rhetorically, eyeing Clyde suspiciously. His face was different shades of purple from where it suffered from Harry's brutality. His lips held a slight frown as he looked at me almost sympathetically.
"Um well...You see" He bit his lip nervously, eyes drifting to Harry who was slouching back against the wall with one floor kicked up and resting on the wall behind him. His arms were crossed. A blunt hanging from his lips as he leaned his head back against the wall.
"Harry had an idea to -to throw me down here and treat me like a prisoner so you wouldn't be suspicious when I asked you questions. So well, we tried it -I let him beat me up and question me like he did to y-you and w-well it didn't work very well so Harry just called it off"
"So you're part of their little gang?" I asked angrily, baling my fists behind my back. "You pretended to flirt with me and compliment me and be a decent person to me? That wasn't you at all, you were just pretending so you could go report back to your little bitch" As I spat out the word 'bitch' my eyes found Harry's and he smirked menacingly before inhaling the smoke and blowing it out threw his nose.
"Exactly" Zayn cut in, staring harshly at me. "And it didn't work because you won't fucking spill"
"Spill what?!" I exploded. "I don't know anything! You're keeping me down here because you think I know the whereabouts of my dad and some fucking chip but I don't know anything!" I yelled. "He was never home! I can honestly say that I've never had a conversation that lasted longer then five minutes with him!"
Zayn and Louis' glares didn't falter, in fact, they seemed to intensify impossibly further as I vented. Harry was silently staring at me from his place against the wall in the corner, and Niall was looking at me with so much sympathy I was sure he'd start crying in a minute.
Clyde was staring at the ground, and Liam was staring at Clyde.
"When are you going to learn that you can't speak to us like that" Zayn exploded, lurching forwards and wrapping a tight hand around my throat. I gagged, tears welling up in my eyes as my lungs desperately tried to intake air.
My throat felt like it was on fire, my eyes flooding with tears as I struggled against my restraints. Zayn was staring at me with so much anger, so much hatred that I was sure I would vanish into ashes.
"Zayn!" Niall exclaimed, reaching forwards to pull the angry dark-haired boy from me. Louis grabbed Niall's arms to prevent him from reaching Zayn, and Liam began to angrily shout at Louis., while Clyde screamed at Zayn to stop.
There was so much commotion, I could see their mouths moving but nothing sounded in my ears. My vision became splotchy, only able to see two deep brown eyes looking smug as he slowly drained the life from me.
"Cut it out!" Harry's loud voice rang out, and the hands fell from around my throat. I coughed violently while simultaneously trying to take in as much breath as possible.
My throat burned, an ache settling deep in my chest as my lungs greedily expanded. "If we can't beat it out of her then we'll have to use someone else against her"
