I was in the woods, footsteps echoed all around me. Taunting me. A deep laugh had my ears ringing and I attempted to cover them, but when I did something wet and sticky smeared across my ears. It was when I brought my hands back into view that I realized it was blood.

I gasped, taking a step back as I looked at my bloody hands. "It's your fault" He taunted me. "You did this"

My breathe caught in my throat as I took a step forward, only to step into a pool of blood. There was blood everywhere. And only one question was running through my mind "Who's blood was this?"

The cold water snatched me from my seemingly endless nightmare of blood. I gasped, sitting upright in my chair, eyes drifting to the six figures surrounding me with harsh glares.

Before I could snap something that probably would have landed me a punch in the face my eyes focused on Harry, who had a gun held loosely in his right hand as his eyes focused on my frame.

"Go get him Clyde" He mumbled, his lips barely moving and his eyes remaining on me despite the fact that he was addressing somebody else. "Now" He spit upon noticing my curiosity.

Clyde glanced at me a few beats longer before scurrying up the stairs. He was gone for a few minutes and when he returned, all eyes were on the person who he held in a tight grip, a bag over their head and their wrists bound together like mine.

"Raleigh" Harry growled, and my eyes snapped to him. "Listen to me carefully" He spoke. His eyes glinted as Clyde forced the mystery man to his knees in front of Harry. I wasn't sure how he could breathe with that bag over his head, but then again I don't really think Harry and the rest of them could care.

"I'm going to shoot this man right here in front of you" He paused to rip the bag from the mystery mans head, and I was faced with short brown buzzed cut hair, bright blue eyes, and a bruised face.

The man looked at me desperately, his eyes pleading for me to help him because it seemed like he knew his own fate already and I was his last chance at hope.

"But you can save him, Raleigh. All you have to do is answer some questions. Just a few and he can walk out of here. No blood on your hands" Harry spoke honestly, but I could see the hint of a small smirk grace his features like this was some sort of game to him. Like the matter between life and death is funny.

"I already told you I don't know anything" I said, my voice so small I could barely hear myself. And although I was talking to Harry, my eyes were glued on the man with bright eyes.

"Please" I said desperately, finally allowing my gaze to focus on Harry. "I promise you I don't know anything. You have me here for no reason" I could feel the sting of tears biting at the corners of my eyes, waiting for me to give them the go.

"Where did your father work?"

And this was the only time I allowed myself to answer to Harry. And that was only because there was somebody else's life on the line. It's simple, really.

I can be a bitch and act all tough when I know that I'm going to suffer the consequences, and Harry seemed to figure this out. That's why he brought someone else into this tangled equation; because he knew that I didn't want to be the cause for somebody else's pain. Especially if they didn't deserve it.

My eyes snapped to the mystery man who I've now dubbed "blue eyes"and sighed heavily. "He works at the hospital by Peters elementary. I think it's called Peters hospital as well, but I- I don't remember. He -He never took us there, and he didn't really talk about it -he didn't like to"
