Waking up in an empty room was not what I was expecting at all....not that I was expecting Harry to sleep and cuddle with me all day, but I figured he didn't trust me enough to leave me in his room by myself. I guess I was wrong.

Silently, I folded the duvet back, allowing myself to slip from the bed ad tiptoe to the window. My view was the backyard encased by a fence. The grass was nice and plush green, and if I stood on my tiptoes and leaned my head against the glass I could see the back patio with the dog house. AKA where I almost got mauled by two flesh-hungry beasts.

My eyes caught hold of the lock on the window seal and I didn't hesitate to get my fingers on it, attempting to flip the small lever so I could open the window. However, I had no such luck. No matter which way I flipped the lever and no matter how hard I tried to pull the window up it just would not budge.

"It's bolted in" His sudden voice made me jump, spinning nervously to face him as he kept his fierce eyes on my hand -which was still on the lever.

"Oh um" I stumbled away from the window. Rendered speechless by his sudden appearance. He wasn't supposed to see me trying to escape.

"You would think that after the conversation we had last night you'd know by now that you aren't leaving"

Last night.

I must be going crazy, Why on Earth would I reveal those things to Harry of all people! Knowing him he'd just find a way to use that against me and humiliate me.

"S-sorry" I found myself stuttering. I backed away from the window, keeping eye contact with his intense irises. "Let's go" He grumbled.

Back to the basement we went.

"You can't just keep me in here like this. I'll go crazy" I muttered bitterly to Louis and Liam, who were both staring at me like I was some kind of caged animal. Which, by now, didn't seem so far off from the truth

"I need fresh air to survive. I'm a fucking human being" I screamed. "Fuck"

I thrashed relentlessly against the chair, desperately trying to break free. "I just want to go home" I whimpered, ceasing my movements and letting my head fall limply until my chin touched my chest.

"Go upstairs boys" Harry mumbled as he trotted down the steps, sweeping his hair to the side as his bright green eyes locked on my frame. "I'll 'andle this one"

Harry stayed standing in front of me with his arms crossed, a cigarette hanging from his raw bitten lips. His eyes didn't stray from mine until the door slammed closed, indicating Liam and Louis' departure.

"Please let me go home" I begged, staring up at him through wet lashes. "I just want to see my brother" I cried.

Harry's jaw clenched when I spoke of my brother, lips stretching back into a sarcastic grin. "You know nothing of your brother" He spoke in disgust. "He's got some skeletons in his closet as well, Raleigh"

Now that, I knew was a lie.

Spencer would never -not in a million years- lie to me. When people think of brother and sister relationships they automatically assume we fight all the time. Nobody considers the fact that we literally tell each other everything. I know exactly how many girlfriends Spencer's had. I know the girl who he first fell in love with, and I can always tell when he's upset, because usually it puts me in a sour mood also.

"Don't talk about him like that" I snapped. "He's a way better person than you'll ever be"

Harry rolled his eyes at that.

I watched as his eyes locked on my frame before he crouched down in front of me. His large hands landed on my knees, gently rubbing before they skimmed down to my ankles. He slowly undid the knots, keeping eye contact with me.

"Harry" I said hesitantly. His hands continued undoing the knot at my ankles as his eyes peered at me in curiosity.

"Thank you for letting me stay in your room last night"

A few beats of silence.

My brain was running a million miles a minute. What was I thinking?! Why was I thanking him?

All of this shit that he's put me through and here I am thanking him. I had to be going crazy.

"Or um..." I stuttered nervously as Harry's eyes locked on my own. He leaned in closer to me, his eyebrows drawing together in confusion as is he didn't know why he was leaning forwards My lips parted without my brains consent as Harry leaned in closer. Closer. Closer.

I was no longer able to tell who's breaths were whose. They mixed together as Harry's eyes closed, palms landing flat on my thighs.

I could feel my heartbeat in my throat as our lips finally connected. They remained just like that for a few beats -just softly pressed against each other. But then Harry's lips forced mine apart, his tongue making its appearance as he flicked it up against the roof of my mouth.

I gasped softly at the feeling of warmth he provided. Harry's lips dominated my own, kissing me so hard I was sure they would be bright red after this little episode. I couldn't help but return the force of his lips with my own, although I let him have complete control.

Suddenly Harry ripped himself away from me with wide eyes, his chest heaving rising and falling heavily as he stared at me in shock. Before any words could be shared between us he turned around and ran -literally sprinted- up the stairs.

Leaving me confused, a little excited, out of breath and with bright red swollen lips.

It was official. I was losing my mind.
