When we get home I saw that we was crying, I get out of the car, he doesn't. I got to the passenger side, open the car door and sit on his lap and just hug him. "Everything will be okay, baby. Promise.", I gently whisper in his ear, so softly I'm not sure that he even heard me, but even if he didn't, that's okay. He knows I'm here for him, and time, day or night.
I release the hug and ask him if he's okay. He says he's fine but I know better than that. "Baby please talk to me, I want to help you get better I really do, but you have to let me help you along with you helping yourself a little bit. I can carry you but you have to learn how to walk sometimes on your own. Okay?"
"Thank you." He says airily
