Chelsea (are you happy now, hopefully you'll leave me alone).
two days later...
I stared at the ceiling counting the tiles. Since my phone died I had to resort in some form of entertainment to keep myself from going crazy. Plus everyone was asleep and I had no one to talk to. I felt someone jump and bump into my leg. I heard a groan and shuffling.
"What time is it?" A voice who I assumed belonged to Maria.
I shrugged my shoulders not looking away from the ceiling. "Two am."
I finally broke my concentration and watched as she rubbed her hands across her face sighing. I pushed myself off the floor and hugged my knees. "What's wrong?" I asked.
She let out a bitter laugh, "At first I had this really fucked up nightmare and I woke up thinking I was still at home. Then reality kicked in that I'm stuck with a bunch of people from the internet who I hate-"
"Hate?"
She froze realizing what she said, "you can't exactly still like people who you haven't talked to in over a year."
"We haven't killed each other yet," I tried reasoning with her. "Doesn't that count for something? Maybe we can all be friends again and-"
She snorted at my idea. She turned her head staring me in my eyes trying to see if I was serious. "The only reason we haven't killed each other is because we don't want to deal with smell of the corpse afterwards. Trust me, if it wasn't for the smell someone would probably already be dead."
She scanned the room, "and by the way Andy and Polar have been fighting all day, I'm willing to bet it would be Polar."
I slumped my shoulders in anger, she was so stubborn like the rest of them. Nobody wanted to try and fix the broken friendship everyone had.
Maria stretched and laid her head on the floor ready to go back to sleep. "Trust me, once we get out of here we're just going to go back to our regular lives. None of which includes anyone from xat." Suddenly silence took over the room. She probably finally went back to sleep.
I laid my head on top of my knees and sighed. Is there really any hope for us?
