Broken

Chapter 3

The mission to get Catherine's little sister was almost mission impossible. The whole time I was praying God would help us get this poor girl out. We went past her parents room which was the hardest but we did it. We got her little sister who is now in the back of my car clinging to Catherine for dear life.

"So would you two be fine with staying at my house?" I ask.

"Umm... That would be nice." Catherine says. I nod and I turn on the rode to my house. It takes a few minutes but we finally arrive. When we get out Catherine's sister clings to me when I pick her up.

"Hey your going to be fine I have a nice family." I say in a safe voice and she nods slowly as she relaxes. "We even have a doggie." I add and her eyes light up. I smile widely then I head to the door. When I open it Marley my chocolate lab trots up. "Mom, Dad I'm home." I say and they emerge from the kitchen. I set Catherine's sister down as Catherine closes the door.

"Honey who are these people?" My mom asks.

"Mom, Dad I'll explain later but this is Catherine and...." I look at Catherine.

"Oh this is my little sister olive but I call her Liv." Catherine says.

"Can they stay for a bit like over night?" I ask. They look at each other then the nod. "Thank you so much." I look at Catherine and Liv before motioning upstairs and I lead them I my room. "Ok you two can sleep in here." I say and they nod. I leave the room so they can get settled and I go down to where my parents are waiting for me. "Ok before you say anything, I want to let then stay for how long they need to because I just saved them from their parents because they abuse them." They look at me shocked but they so get over it and they nod.

"Ok in that case it's ok for them to stay as long as they need." My mom says. I nod then a thanks before grabbing a pillow and a blanket. After I have a bed made on the couch I get ready for then. Once I've said goodnight to my mom and dad I plop myself down on the couch and I fall into a hard sleep.
