I walk into church with a suit on. I he's to the kitchen and I grab a donut and a cup of water. As I walk upstairs I shake my head trying to get Catherine out of my head. I just feel something... Like there's something about her. Just pay attention to the lesson and tell the pastor after church. I tell myself. The lesson was interesting, when I mean interesting I mean it fits my situation. After it's over and everyone starts to leave the church I walk over to the pastor's office. After I knock I hear a come in.

"What's up Chris." He greats me when I close the door.

"Nothing really but I was hoping you could give me some advice." He nods slowly.

"Shoot." I take a give breath.

"So there is this girl at school and I can't help but feel like I need to help her in anyway I can. Of what I know she's lost in a world of pain and she doesn't go to church anymore."

"Ok Chris. I can't really help you with this but I'm just going to tell you she's lost a broken pray for God to tell you what to do next." I nod.

"Ok thank you." I get up and I open the door before looking back at him. "God bless."

"God bless." He returns. I close the door behind me. I walk out into the parking lot and I hop in my car before making my way to my grandma's house for Sunday dinner (lunch).

I walk into the school my bible in hand like always. My dusty blonde hair combed up into a spike. Look around for Catherine but I can't see her anywhere. I looked for about another hour or so and classes are about to start. My first class starts in 10 minutes and I just don't want to stop my search but I have to. I'm just about to walk into class when I hear faint sobs. I follow the sound until I come upon Catherine curled up in a corner. I set my things down on the floor before walking over to her. She looks up slowly with red puffy eyes.

I get on my knee so I can get a better look at her and her face is covered with cuts and bruises. I put my hand out and I touch her cheek lightly and she flinches back like I'm going to hurt her. Has she been abused? I ask myself.

"Catherine I'm not going to hurt you." I say in a soft tone. The tardy bell rings and I let out a small groan. Catherine looks at me fear clear in her. "What happened?" She shakes her head. "Do you need to go home?" The fear in her eyes get worse.

"No! Anywhere but there!" She says curling up into a tight ball. "I don't ever want to go back there."

"What why not?" I now sit next to her and I wrap a arm around her.

"Because my father... He. He's a abusers! The only reason I would go back is to save my sister."

"How old is your sister." She relaxes a little into my hold.

"Seven. She been begging me to save her from mother and father but I haven't had the chance because every time I try father gets me. I now live on the streets because of them but I have to save my sister I just don't know how." A few more tears escape her gray red eyes. I nod A little.

"Maybe I could help you save her maybe tonight." I suggest. She looks up at me.

"Really?" She asks. I nod and she smiles widely. "Thank you!" She says then hugs me tightly. I hug her back happy to see her smile. When we pull away and I get up she follows me. I walk her to her class before going to my class. Tonight is going to hard. I think as I knock on the class room door and I wait for someone to open it.
