The Mysterious Guy

When we finally got home with Ray he went straight to sleep. I took a shower and went for a swim in the pool. I tried to figure out what had just happened but i couldn't. Why was i the only one who tried to stop him? Why did everyone on the bridge act like nothing happened, like he was never there? That's the strangest thing that has ever happened me.. except for the fact that once as a child i was on a hotel's balcony at night leaning on the edge and fell down. The hotel was about 263 ft tall. When i made it to the ground I felt only a little pain in my arm but that was it.. i just went back to my room and my arm didn't even hurt in the morning. Thank god no one saw. 

I decided to forget what had happened and got out of the pool. I put a towel around myself and got some strawberries to eat. I checked the phone's clock and it showed me 10:23PM with it's big white numbers. I decided to call my mum and ask where she was. I typed in her number and put the phone against my ear. 

''Hey mum.. where are you?'' I asked while i pet Ray.

''I'm sorry honey i can't make it home tonight, the meeting is taking too long but i'll be home with the first flight in the morning, okay?'' I heard people talking in the background. 

''It's okay mum, I'll see you tomorrow!'' I was quite sad because she's always away from home now that her salon has expanded overseas.

''Dad should be home in an hour so cheer up sweetheart! I gotta go now.. I love you!'' She said calmly.

''I love you too, bye!'' I hung up the phone and put some strawberries in my mouth. I went upstairs and put on my grey satin nightdress. I thought that Ray Ray would like to sleep in my room so i went to call him. ''Hey Ray..'' I was about to call him but he wasn't where he was before. 

''Ray Ray?'' I yelled but he didn't come or make any noise. i walked down the stairs and walked outside to the front yard. ''Ray Ray, you here? Come out boy!'' Everything was quiet. Where the hell was he? I went to the backyard through the house. Our house has floor to ceiling walls facing backyard. I didn't see him there before though. I rolled a window to aside so i could step outside. ''Ray Ray come out, where are you?'' He didn't answer but i saw him standing on the start of our pier. When i got closer i heard him snarl. ''Ray Ray what's wrong?'' I ducked down next to him and pet him. Then i looked at where he was looking. He was looking at the end of the pier but there was nothing there. ''Ray, there's nothing?'' He barked when i said that as he was saying i'm wrong. I stood up and walked to the end of the pier. No one was here. My dad's small yacht was here but it seemed to be empty. I stepped on it and opened the cabin door. No one was in there either. I closed it and stepped back to the pier. When i started walking back i didn't see Ray Ray anymore. I was kind of getting scared because he had never acted like this before. I ran back to the house and i saw him inside my room still staring at the pier. I stepped inside the house and rolled the window back and locked it. Then i walked upstairs to my room. ''Ray Ray you're acting strange wha-'' I shut up when i looked out of the window and saw the guy that jumped off the bridge at the end of the pier. I closed my eyes and opened them again to see if it's true but when i opened my eyes he was gone. I felt my silver locket necklace warming up so i took it off. My parents gave it to me when i was just a baby. It's oval and it has an antique pattern all over it. And in the middle there a small blue crystal. The thing is that i can never get the locket open. Even tho i'm kind of one of the strongest persons alive i can't get it open. But i don't wanna break it either so i stopped trying. I put the necklace in a box.

''I..i think i should go to sleep!'' I held my cold hand on my forehead to relax myself a bit because i was in quite shock right now. But you can't say i was going crazy because it was the same guy and i wasn't the only one who saw him.. Ray Ray saw him too. Well i actually don't know what he saw but he saw something and he didn't like it.
