Before The Beach Party

''Hey you okay?'' I haven't even realized that few tears had fallen down my cheeks. ''No, i'm fine!'' I turned my back to him and quickly wiped the tears away.

''You sure?'' His voice sounded worried. ''Yeah.. but wait..'' I turned myself around to see him. ''How did you find me?'' i emphasized the word you.

''I found you by this!'' He took off his necklace and put it on the bar. I took it and i realized that it looked exactly like my locket necklace only this one had a red crystal in it and the locket was on a longer string. ''Every immortal has their own necklace and the crystal is actually white but once you put it on it turns into your color. It also goes warm whenever you're around another immortal but it lasts only a minute or so. And the crystal gives you your power!'' I tried to open this one and it did open. It had some kind of a sign in it. ''Oh and that sign shows who you are inside.. i'm a survivor! Who are you?'' 

''I don't know.. mine won't open!'' I put his necklace back on the bar. ''I guess you just haven't found your inner you yet!'' He put the necklace around his neck. 

''You told me, i'm powerful.. what do you mean by that?'' I asked curiously.

''That means you have powers that anyone else doesn't have! Like you should hear peoples thoughts, make things do stuff with your mind, make people see things that actually don't happen, erase people's memory, speak with others through your mind and you should be able to disappear from one place and appear in another within seconds.. it like teleporting.'' He said that like it was normal .. well maybe it was my new normal now.

''But you can make people see stuff too?'' I sat on the kitchen counter.

''Yes and i can speak with you through my mind too but that's what al immortals can!'' Ray Ray had came inside and Damon was now petting him.. i guess Ray Ray started to like him.

''But i can only hear people's thoughts and make things do stuff but even that comes out like a crap?!'' I was confused.

''You have to train your powers!'' He was still petting Ray Ray. ''How?'' I walked over to them. 

''I know how!'' He now stood up. ''Can you teach me?'' I bit my lip.

''If you want to, Angel!'' He winked and then suddenly we heard someone ring the doorbell. I tried to recognize him by his thoughts and it was James.

''You have to hide, It's James!'' I told him quickly. ''What? Is he your boyfriend?'' He made a smile like he was up to something.

''No he's not, he's my best friend!'' James rang the doorbell again and yelled my name. ''Oh i can hear him think about how to ask you out.. well someone's friendzoned! Hey let's make this harder for him.. I'll walk out of the door and say 'She's good and i hate to leave but you're up!'' He laughed.

''That.. makes me look like i'm a hooker!'' I crossed my arms. ''Right.. but i have to walk out of the door anyhow!'' I smiled and shook my head slightly. We walked to the door and i opened it. 

''Hey, James! What are you doing here?'' James was staring at Damon. ''Who are you?'' 

''May i tell him i'm your boyfriend?'' Damon told me in his thoughts. Because i didn't know how to answer him in my thoughts i just gave him a deadly look. ''Come on i just wanna see his face!'' 

''Forget it!'' I accidentally said out loud. ''Oh sorry.. it's Damon, my..'' I looked at Damon. ''Friend!'' 

''Ahah.. nice to meet you!'' They shook hands. ''Okay but i'll go now! See ya Hope!'' He stepped out of the house and walked over to his black motorcycle. ''I don't even have your number!'' How was i supposed to see him.. i don't know where he lives or his phone number?

''Don't worry you'll find me! Your necklace will let you know whenever i'm around!''  He told me in his thoughts. Then he started the engine and drove away. 

''Well that was weird.. he's weird! i have to keep my eye on him!'' I gave James an interrogative look. ''I just don't want him to hurt you..  i don't like him!'' He scratched his neck. 

''Don't worry i'm fine, he's not gonna hurt me! Anyhow.. what are you doing here?'' 

''Today's the big beach party so i was wondering if you'd wanna come?'' He bit his lip.

''Duh! Of course i'm coming! And damn we gotta get you a girlfriend, you can't be single forever!'' We both laughed.

''Sure, but okay i'll pick you up at 8!'' He started walking back to his car. ''Okay see ya!'' I waved at him and closed the door. I went upstairs and put on my necklace. Then i heard someone calling me on Skype. I opened it and it was Gwen. I answered it.

''Hey gurll..you, yes you.. i need you.. to come to the mall with me! I need new bikinis. I can't go to the party with my old ones.. what was i thinking when i bought them?'' What a drama queen i thought. ''What are you laughing at? I'm serious! But hey you're coming to the beach party right?'' She asked.

''Yes i am! James just invited me! He can't go anywhere without me!'' I laughed. 

''Omg James' coming! Alert! Alert! Alert!'' Gwen panicked and i started laughing even more. Gwen has this crush on James like forever but she has always been too shy to hit on him. 

''Stop laughing! Now, i'll pick you up in 20! Be ready!'' She told me and ended the conversation. I got off my chair and moved over to the closet.  I put my hair up in high messy bun and put on a pair of sunglasses. Then i heard Gwen honk the car horn outside so i took my bag and left the house. 

We shopped about 4 hours and when i got back home it was almost 6pm. Then I went for a short walk with Ray Ray and when we got back it was 7pm so it was time for me to get ready. Underneath i put on my red bikinis. Over them i put a loose satin short jumpsuit. I applied a bit of make up and put on Chanel N5 perfume. When i was done with making myself beach wavy curls i went downstairs to get some ice cream. I gave Ray Ray some food and wrote my parents a short letter saying: ''I'm at a party, i'll probably come late! Love Hope'' . I left the letter on the kitchen counter. Few minutes later i saw James' car parking in front of my house so i quickly put on my black sandals. I took my phone, put the house under alarm and sat in the Mustang.
