I led Jason up to my room and ordered him to sit on the bed, "Sit." He looked at me and sneered, "I'm the teacher here, you sit." and then he basically dragged me by my wrist and pushed me down on the bed. (Not in the dirty ways your perverted minds are thinking.)
"Now," he mumbled taking something out of his right pocket, "I've brought this list..." He unfolded this extremely crumpled piece of paper. "Wow, are you sure that's a paper?" He rolled his eyes, "Yeah, it's just a little crumpled...Anyway, I'll teach you everything a guy wants." I nodded my head obediently and he read off the first thing on the list, "Confidence." I looked at him expectantly and he just shrugged his shoulders and pulled me up.
"Okay, so the only thing better than a hot girl is a hot girl with confidence. Do you hear me?" I was about to make a remark on that but I chose to shut my mouth, I really wanted to know what actually goes on in that turmoil of a guy's brain.
"So, when he compliments you, don't be all," the next minute he was doing a ridiculous imitation of a girl, "Aw, nah! I'm not beautiful...hehehe" he laughed, or giggled, whatever you want to call it like a chimpanzee. I'm not even kidding. "You aren't supposed to be insecure, at all. Be confident and gladly accept his compliment. Maybe throw in a compliment about him too." I nodded trying to understand this weird dude in front of me.
"Okay? Now, let's try this." He took me by the arms and made me stand right in front of him. He looked into my eyes, his eyes were even more deep and green than usual, that was uncalled for...
He took a stray piece of my hair and gently placed it behind my ear, "You're beautiful, you know?" I was too busy staring at his face, I couldn't speak, my tongue was tied. "HELLO! Carrot, what did I just tell you? Confidence!" his voice snapped me out of my trance and I shook my head trying to clear my thoughts. "Now, one more time," he looked at me intensely once again, "Have I ever told you how beautiful and perfect you are?" This time, I remembered what he had said, confidence..."Speak for yourself. You're pretty perfect as well." Jason's intense gaze broke out into a grin, "Ha! I know right?" I looked at him, my eyebrows arched and slapped his shoulder. "Self conceited prat." He tried to hold a glare but eventually failed, "That hurt. But amazing work, fast learner I see...Oh and then, after you say that, make sure to kiss him." He pouted his lips playfully and I flicked his forehead. "In your dreams, Greyback. In your dreams." He laughed along with me and then took out the list once more.
"Okay, now that's done...Um, intelligence." I looked at him weirdly, "Intelligence?" He nodded his head, "Yep, intelligence is attractive to guys. I don't think I really have to lecture you on this, because you aren't a bimbo and you're quite intelligent..." He drawled on and I couldn't stop my cheeks from turning crimson.
He thinks I'm intelligent. Well.
"Jason, exactly what do you mean by intelligence?" I couldn't help but ask. "See, this is easy, don't act like a bimbo or dumb blonde or something just to be cute. Guys like it when a girl can stand up to him and as his equal. So, for intelligence, just be your witty self." He took a pen and crossed 'intelligence' out.
Okay, now, third lesson, "Guys are extremely possessive, well, any real guy at that. So, make sure not to be too nice to other guy friends or ditch him for them and stuff." I tried to process all this, boys are way more complicated than they seem, "Okay..." and then he continued, "When you're around other guys, hold his hand, make him aware that he's only yours and he doesn't have to worry about anything." I nodded my head, "Is there a particular way I'm supposed to hold his hand?" I realized how stupid that sounded right as it came out of my mouth but Jason didn't find it the least bit odd. "I was actually hoping you'd ask that. Guys like it when you hold their hand and sort of trace circles with your thumb against their hand..." he took my hand in his, and I felt something, probably just static or whatever. He rubbed small circles against the side of my hand, "See? Now you try..." He let go of my hand and this time, I held his hand and did what he'd been doing a second ago, "Like this?" I asked, he looked at me in this way, I couldn't really describe it. It was just...I don't know...he whispered softly, "Yeah."
