Wow 23 long hours on a plane, at least I slept for most if it. As we started to land, I got all my stuff together and sat up properly. As we reached the ground my ears started to pop, which was horrible.

I walked through the terminal to find where to collect my bags. It was then I realised I had no where to stay. I asked at the desk if they knew of any hotels that were nice. They recommended one in the middle of Melbourne, and from what they were saying its a nice place.

I called for a taxi to take me there, I got into the car and we drove off. I could feel my eye lids starting to shut when I felt the taxi driver brake suddenly.

"Get out of the road you silly boys" I herd him shout. I looked out the window to see 4 boys messing around with one filming it.

The driver carried on until he pulled into this amazing hotel. It look like a 5 star hotel but the people at the airport says it was 4 stars. I couldn't imagine what a 5 star looks like.

I checked in to the hotel and took my bags upstairs. I jumped onto the bed and laid there, thinking about how messed up my life is. I have no family, no friends, no nothing. And I have to spend my 16th birthday next month all alone.

Before I knew it, my eyes got heavy and started to close. I must have slept for hours because I woke up to the sound of knocking. Then I realise it was the door. I answered it and let the housekeeper in. I hadn't made any mess so she pretty much walked straight out again.

I had a shower, put on some fresh clothes and ordered room service.

I thought I should go out and get done fresh air and find a place to live. I picked up a leaflet about house mums. I looked through it and thought it was a good idea. A house mum is someone who looks after people who don't have anywhere to live.

I called the agency and they told me to come down to their office and they will decide if I am able to stay with someone.

I got their and they took down my details, stuff like name, where Im staying now, why I need somewhere to stay...

They took my case seriously and they found me somewhere straight away. Only problem is that I can't move in for another week, but the agency will provide the money for me to stay in the hotel I am in now. I don't need the money because I took my dads but I don't want to tell anyone about that so I let them help me.

2 days later

I woke up and got straight up. I have had enough of the hotel food so I decided to go out and get something.

I walked to the shopping centre and found the first place to eat. It was a place called maccas or something like that. They served breakfast and it tasted goooood.

I finished there and decided to go shopping. I walked around different shops and found a place that sold snap backs and beanies. I was in heaven. I need some new ones, I left all 69 of mine in England. Time for some new ones.

I walked over to the 'YOLO' snap backs and reached for the blue one. I couldn't reach it, until I felt someone lift me up. I freaked out and grabbed it quickly and screamed. They put me down and I turned around to see 2 boys who looked the same.

"Sorry I thought you could use some help, sorry if we scared you" one said.

"Yeah, sorry" the other said.

"It's ok honestly, thanks for the help" I said shyly.

"It was no problem. Look we have to go but I hope we see you again soon" the first boy said. Then they walked away.

I payed for the hat and put it on my head. I walked out and someone ran up to me and said

"could I have your snapback please? I love it so much" a boy with bright green eyes said.

"No, I don't know who you are" I said sternly.

"Ok, I think it looks cute on you anyway. Sorry to bother you" he ran off, weird boy.

I got back to the hotel and waited for the call to tell me I could go and stay with my new family.

It was as if my magic my phone started to ring. I was the agency telling me I could move in tomorrow. I was practically jumping around the room when they called. I need someone to talk to or I will go crazy.

I got out my laptop and went onto twitter. I saw a trend which caught my eye. #TheGirlInTheBlueHat. I clicked on it and saw a picture of the back of a boy and the top half of a girl with a blue 'YOLO' snapback on just like my new one. You can't make out her face but one detail caught my eye. The pic was taken outside the stare I was at today. I must have missed all the action. Oh well, maybe next time.

I scrolled thrift my tweets and saw I had no mentions. I guess no one misses me. I closed the laptop and went to sleep. Waiting for tomorrow to come. I finally get a proper family.
