Chapter two
"Nice to meet you Cassia."
She nodded and turned away. The sky was filled with stars and she lied down to get a better look. Soon after that Niall lied down next to her.
"You got any music? I left my iPod in the house." Niall said
"Yea. What do you wanna listen to?"
"Just press play on whatever you were listening to before."
Cassia handed him a headphone and pressed play. Neon Lights by Demi Lavato came on.
"Baby when they look up at the sky. We'll be shooting stars just passing by." Niall sang.
Cassia giggled waiting for him to continue.
"You'll be comin home with me tonight." Niall sang, kneeling over Cassia. He was actually an amazing singer. He unplugged the headphones so Demi's voice filled the air and pulled Cassia up.
"We'll be burning up like neon lights." Cassia sang sloppily.
Niall grabbed her hands and they twirled around.
"Lets pretend we're running out of time" Niall and Cassia sang together. They ran around singing and laughing. Cassia chased after Niall. He came to an abrupt stop and Cassia knocked them both down.
"You know, you don't look half bad in the moonlight" Niall said with a smile.
"You don't look too bad yourself" Cassia giggled.
They sat up and looked at each other. Niall sat across from Cassia.
"So tell me a little about yourself." Cassia said
"Like what?"
"I dunno. Where are you from in Ireland. Why did you move.. How are you always so happy..why you dye your hair" Cassia said playfully.
"Well Im from Mullingar Ireland. I moved because I couldn't chose between wich of my parents to live with. Their divorced. Umm.. Im happy now because I didnt use to be. And I dye my hair because I wanted to be different and uniquer then the old me."
Cassia didnt say anything for a while.
"What do you mean you didnt used to be happy?"
"It was nothing. Now tell me a little about you." Niall said.
"Well I have Carmel brown hair and green eyes."
Niall looked at her. "Noooo really?"
"Haha okok. Im from around here. Ocean City born and raised. Im almost done with high school. Ill be taking college classes next semester. Uhh..I play volley ball..and I usually stay away from boys like you." Cassia said.
"Why do you stay away from boys like me?"
Cassia didnt really know why she had said that. "Im not sure..I mean..I dont know..it's just when ever Im around these kind of boys I get hurt."
"I would never hurt you. Ever." Niall said.
Cassia stayed silent looking at the ground. She didnt know what to say. Could she trust him? Niall sighed.
"So your a smart chick huh?" Niall said flatly.
"Yea sorta" Cassia said cautiously.
"Maybe we could play volley ball sometime together? Why dont you teach me how to stand and stuff??" Niall said.
Niall and Cassia stood up. She grabbed his arms ready to position them when she noticed something on his arms.
"Oh my god Niall."
