Summer's POV// later on the first day of sophomore year
I walk into my first classroom, new year, new classes.
The bell rings and the the teacher starts taking attendance. After a minute or two she looks up.
"Where is Hayes?" She asks.
As if it were his que he walks in.
Turns out Hayes was the guy from the hallway. I put my head down hoping he wouldn't notice me.
"Here" he smiles obviously loving the attention.
"Sit" she says sharply pointing to a seat in front of me. As he walks to his seat he sees me and smirks.
I roll my eyes, this is gonna be a long year.
Within the first minute he starts annoying the hell out of. Throwing paper making noises tapping on my desk.
He throws a paper and it hits my eye.
"Fuck off" I say instantly holding my eye from pain.
I feel a tap on my shoulder.
"Are you okay?" A super hot guy asks.
I take my hand off my eye and shake my head yes.
He gasps I guess my eye was really swollen.
"Did he do that to you?" He asks.
"Yeah" I growl.
"Hey kid" he calls to Hayes.
He turns around.
"Don't mess with her" he says threatening him.
Hayes looks scared I giggle and he looks a little upset. Me and the guy whose name I learned is Cameron kept talking. He had brown kind of curly hair and freckles scattered through out his face. Finally the bell rings.
I rush out the door but to be stopped by Hayes.
"Had to find your self a protector huh" he says.
"Leave me alone" I yell.
"Never" he smirks.
I go up to him and push him down causing him to fall.
"I said leave me alone" I repeat.
Hayes POV
She pushes me to the floor with incredible force.
"Leave me alone" she repeats.
If only she knew.............
