I smell something, its not bad but that's why it scared me. Infected people smell disgusting and with rotting food and dead bodies every where the world needs a serious bath. I open one eye slowly making sure no one was watching me, the room was empty. It looked like a hospital room, the only thing missing was a nurse. There was a desk at one end with needles carrying a blue substance.
My knife! I thought. I looked around for some type of weapon, I guess the needles would work but I wonder what's in them. I look at some of the papers on the desk, hoping one of them would tell me what's in these needles. I opened the laptop on the desk. It worked! Music started blaring out of the laptop. It was King For A Day by Pierce The Veil. (If you don't know that song, its kind of a punk rock kind of song, also Pierce The Veil is a band ;-).
I exited out of the song, hoping no one heard that. Nothing. I searched for about thirty minutes and nothing. Whatever, it wasn't that important anyway.
I'm kind of worried, I'm not gonna lie. No one is coming to get me, and the last thing I remember was falling asleep in some truck with two men driving it. Which sounds really sketchy when I think about it. I notice that there aren't any doors in the room. How did I get in? Better question, how do I get out? I look around some more, but they're no windows, doors, or exit signs. I hear something on the roof, looking up I realize there's some kind of way out. I slide the bed under the "door", and stand on the bed. I unlocked the panel, and push upward. The door was incredibly heavy. The door flopped outward. I lift myself out, trying to pull up my own weight.
"Here let me help you with that", said a voice from outside the door. Whoever it was pulled me up and out of the hole. "Thanks, but what's up with the hospital hole?" It was a woman, or the missing nurse. "Its safer, if you were a zombie you wouldn't of been able to get out." That was actually a really good idea. "Where am I, and what's with the needles"? I pull out the needle I carried and handed it to her. "Ah! That is a fake, just water dyed blue", she winked. "And you are at the safest army base camp." I was amazed, the safest army base! I was finally safe, no more worries.
"Come on in, this is your room." She pointed at a huge "hotel" room. It was exactly like my room at my old house. I step on the tan rug I've had since I was three. "Are you okay?" My mother looked at me from my bed. "Mom?" My head stung, what was going on? I closed my eyes tight in pain. I felt dizzy, like I was going to throw up at any minute. I open my eyes, staring into the eyes of my zombified teacher. Screaming in fear and pain I lunge to the ground.
I throw my head up smacking it against the sink in the gas station bath room. Realizing there was no such thing as safe.
