Your P.O.V.
I get out all my homework, starting with Spanish. I blast "Backseat Serenade" by All Time Low, and shuffle my homework playlist as I start my packet. I get through like 3 pages and toss it in my backpack. It's weekly homework so I'll finish it someother time.
I start a group convo with Quinn, Alex, Liz, and Rocky.
Y/n: hey I'm bringing Harry to the movies. K?
Alex: who's Harry?
Liz: new guy. I told you already, babe
Alex: ohhh lol y/n's new honey ;-;
Quinn: YAAS betch. Get some
Roc: lol ya bring em
Y/n: okay kewl lol
I then text Harry to tell him the news.
Y/n: hey buttface. U can come with us to the movies. If u wanna come to my house, my mom could drive us. Unless u just wanna meet us there or sum. It starts @ 6:50 but leaving home @ 6:20
H- Thanks for asking but I'm afraid I can't go. Sorry, love :/
Y/n- it's okay. Gonna finish up some hw, then get ready. I'll ttyl.
It was only 5:03 and all I had to do was change and restraighten my hair that was now a bit wavy from the messy bun. I read through a few pages of "To Kill A Mockingbird" and finally after the 2nd chapter, I put everything away. It was now 5:40, and just as I was about to change, my mom walked in.
"Hey, sweetie. Whatcha doin?" She asks sitting on my bed.
"About to change for the movies", I reply, walking over to my closet to pick something out.
"Oh, honey. I completely forgot I was supposed to drive you, I made plans. I invited the new neighbors over for dinner and I'd really like it if you stayed."
"Mooom. Are you serious??", I ask rhetorically.
"I'm sorry honey, but you can go out with your friends tomorrow night. Now get changed, they'll be here at 6:30", she says walking toward my bedroom door. "Oh and honey, please wear a dress", she says before leaving my room completely. I roll my eyes and get back to the group text, telling them I can't go.
Y/n: can't go guys. Mom's playing hostess for new neighbors and making me stay home
Roc: what the shizz. That's not fair
Quinn: yea dude that sucks :/
Y/n: yea she said we can do something tomorrow tho
Alex: oh sweet. We should just go see the movie tomorrow then
Liz: good idea hun. Is that good with everyone?
Quinn: yeah
Roc: sure
Y/n: you guys didn't have to do that but thank you. Ily guys<3
Liz: love u too bbygurl
Alex: love you too sis
Roc: np. You're my little shit and ily more Cx

Thinking about it, my mind starts to wonder if Harry was my new neighbor? I mean he didn't even ask for directions home. If he got lost at school, how would he have made it HOME alright, if he didn't live around here.
If Harry was coming tonight, that would make the situation about a billion times better. I smile to myself as I get dressed. I wear a black dress, white thigh high stockings and some black lace-up booties. Just as I finished doing my hair, the doorbell rang. "Can you get that, honey?", my mom yells from her room. As I open the door, I am greeted by those familiar green eyes and infamous smirk. "Hello, Harry.", I greet, attempting to hide my excitement.
