Dinner

I introduce myself to Harry's mother. Anne, I think her name was. She was so sweet. "You have a lovely home.", she says as we all sit at our dining room table.

"Thank you, so much. Welcome to the neighborhood.", my mother smiles.

       Half way through dinner and our mum's are completely ingulfed in gossip. My mother telling Anne the latest scandals of the other women on our block.

"Why didn't you tell me you were coming over?", I ask Harry quietly.

"I wanted it to be a surprise. Surprise!", he says with a chuckle. I roll my eyes and smirk. He was definitely something else.

Harry and I maintained small talk throughout dinner. He was really funny and I must admit, that accent. Wow. It was mesmerizing.

"It was great having you all over.", my mom says handing Anne her coat.

"Thank you for having us. We should do this again, sometime", Anne says, giving me a tight hug. I glance at Harry in the corner of my eye. He's standing beside Anne, already looking at me, grinning.

"Definetly.", my mother says.

Harry then stands in front of me, "Y/n, it was a pleasure, I'll see you tomorrow", he says. And with that, Harry and his mother are gone. I close the door behind him and lean my back on it, blushing and just smiling at the thought of him.

"You have a crush on him, don't you?", I am snapped out of my trance by my mothers' knowing voice.

"What are you talking about?", I furrow my eyebrows, trying to hide the smile I'm fighting.

"I'm your mother, Y/n, I notice these things."

"Don't you think I'm too young for boys, mother?, I ask, trying to get her to drop it.

"I thought he was cute for you. But it's your life, honey.", she kisses my forehead and goes to her room. I really don't want to fall for him. Me and feelings don't usually mix well. But I can't get him off of my mind.

Ugh, this boy. This boy, will be the death of me.
