Hey ya'll! It's Nique! I decided to write another story because I realized how much my first sucked.

Hopefully you will enjoy this one! Please Vote and Comment! Give me feedback! I would love it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Thanks Lucas pick me up at 7!" I said to my older brother as I walked up to my best friend's Marianna's house.

I'm Avery James, but most people call me Ave. I'm 15 years old. I have brown curly hair and hazel eyes. I have two older brothers: Jake and Lucas, and a older sister Meredith. Yes, I absolutely love my siblings, I do, but most of the time they really do get on my last nerves.

"Hello Mrs. Anderson! How are you today?" I asked Marianna's Step-mother as she opened the door for me.

"Ave, how many times I gotta tell you to call me Stacy? We've known each other for so long" Yeah, well not long enough. Her and Marianna's dad just got married probably like a year ago, and I'm still not accustomed to this new arrangement. And neither is Marianna.

I gave her a friendly smile, as I walked away without saying another word. Thank God I walked away from that awkward conversation. I went up the stairs and up to Marianna's room. I've always like Marianna's room at her Dad's house its really Spacious and roomy. The main colors in her room are pink and orange colors.

"Hey Mar! What are we going to do today?" I asked.

"Um, I don't know, I'm hungry, let's go out and go get some food" she said.

We ended up going to a little hole in the wall place called Little Gee's Diner. We were currently sitting in the back of the diner. I was too busy in heaven to know that our waiter had walked up to us.

"Hello ladies, what can I get for you all today?" asked our waiter.

"Um, can I have a cheeseburger and fries and a sweet tea?" Mar asked.

"Can I have a Fried chicken sandwich with a baked potato with a Iced water with lemon?" I told him without looking up.

"Damn! That boy was steamin'! Wasn't he? I'd tap that any day and any time of the year!" Mar said.

Here she goes again, being boy crazy as always. I bet you he isn't even that attractive.

"No, No I didn't see him. How are you and Colby?" I questioned her about that "Playboy" of a boyfriend of hers.

"We're over" she said bluntly.

"Why? What happened?" They were as in love as ever yesterday at the bonfire at Kathy's.

"I saw him hooking up with Kathy in her bedroom. He didn't even notice me standing there. He doesn't even know that I know, neither does Kathy." Mar said.

I could see a little tiny tear falling. I knew she had more feelings for him, more than she ever told me I mean.

"I'm sorry about that you know, he didn't deserve you in the first place, I never liked him."I said as I reached over to give her a hug. That's why she left early from the party,it all had clicked.

Well at least they weren't that serious. They only went out for two weeks. But Mar had had a huge crush on him for months before.

"Here you go ladies" said the most attractive boy ever. He had Black chiseled short hair, and the most vibrant blue eyes I had ever seen. and a banging body. He was a major hottie I would say. The total package.

"Thank you, what is your name?" Marianna had asked exactly what I was thinking.

"Carter, yours?" he said. It actually suited him a cute name for cute boy.

"I'm Marianna and this is my best friend Avery. Are you single?"

"Yes, are you Avery?" he questioned.

I looked up, I love the way my name rolled off his tongue.

"Yes" I said too quickly.

"I am too" Marianna said wanting the center of attention of course.

"Well I gotta go, I'll talk to you ladies later" he said while he walked away with his very cute butt.

The food was fantastic. We are most deffinately coming back to this place. Especially if Carter is going to be here. He's such a charmer.

Before we could leave Marianna just had to go talk to Carter. AGAIN.

"My burger was great, but YOU seem rare and well-done at the same time, and I'll be back soon to taste you" after she said this she finally walked away, meanwhile he didnt look phased. Which I didnt know if that was a good thing or not. But then again he is probably used to it. Who wouldn't hit on that.

Well atleast she could communicate with boys, meanwhile, I don't really know how to flirt. I doubt I was even the least bit attractive to guys. Plus I'm not as exciting as her. Sometimes I do envy her because of her looks, and charm.

lol I hope this was better than the last.
