I was at school the next day a little worried that my teachers knew I skipped school. After a couple periods no one said anything to me so I assumed I got away with it. The whole day I was looking around through the halls trying to see where Kellin was. I should’ve assumed he wasn’t coming, I guess he was making it a thing to come for a day then disappear for a couple after. I was sitting outside on the bleachers in gym pretending that I had a stomach ache so I didn’t have to run with the rest of the class, it was way too hot to be running 5 miles. Gym really wasn’t my thing, I don’t think any subject in school was my thing; I just do what I have to so I can pass. As I laid my head back on the bleacher behind me, I covered my eyes with my arm because the sun was too bright. I heard a sudden thud causing me to look up hastily.
“Hey.” Kellin smiled.
“Hey, thought you weren’t gonna come.” I said sitting up.
“On this beautiful day? How could I not come?” he said with a chipper tone.
“Are you okay?” I asked. “You’re quite happy.”
“What? I can’t be happy?” he said smiling at me. He’s always smiling.
“No, that’s not your thing. You’re more hostile and vengeful.” Jet said approaching us.
“Oh yeah? Well I think you’re more of a snitch.” Kellin’s demeanor totally changed.
“Really, cause-“ Jet started to talk but I cut him off because I didn’t want any drama.
“Is everything alright between you two?” I asked looking at them both.
“Yup, everything’s fine. Let’s go.” Kellin said putting his arm around my shoulder leading me the opposite direction off Jet. We began walking up and down the bleachers, not really talking because I didn’t know what to say.
“So why are you and your brother at each other’s throats?” I asked.
“He’s just...difficult and annoying.” He rolled his eyes.
“Yeah, I know the feeling, I got a younger brother, we argue every now and again but we aren’t like you and your brother. The way you were staring at each other I thought you wanted to kill one another.”
“He’ll always come back to life even if I tried.” He mumbled. I could barely make out what he said but I heard it.
“What?” I asked in confusion.
“Nothing, just no matter how hard I try to get rid of him he still lives with me so I can never really escape him.” He said. “Anyway, do you want to come over tonight? You’re kinda the only friend I got here and I bought this new game, it’s a two player; It’ll be fun.” He smiled.
“Yeah, sure.” I smiled back.

Kellin’s POV
I sat on the couch in the living room, plucking Jet upside the head out of boredom. I stopped when I heard scuffing of shoes. I knew it was Vic even though he was all the way outside I could hear it clear as day like it was right next to me. A second later he was knocking at the door, I would’ve gotten up but I just love messing with Hunter.
“Uh…can I help you?” Hunter said in his usual hostile voice. I looked over and saw he didn’t even have the door open all the way it was halfway open with him blocking the entrance so he couldn’t see pass him.
“I’m here to uh…see K-Kellin.” Vic stuttered out. I decided to cut in before Vic actually pissed his pants from fear.
“Yeah, he’s here to see me.” I patted Hunter on the shoulder, giving him a quick mischievous grin then nudged him out the way to let Vic in. “Come in.” I smiled.
