Kellin’s been staying at my house ever since he’s gotten better. My parents don’t know because Kellin begged me not to tell them so I’ve been sneaking him in after they go to bed. He doesn’t want his family knowing where he’s at because he said they had a falling out but I think he should at least tell them where he’s here so they won’t worry. I haven’t been pressing the situation even though I think something’s wrong, I just go with it for him because he has that effect on me, I just do what he says for some reason. It’s been about a week and a half since he’s been here and every time I brought up the situation he would just give me a weird look and I’d go off into a daydream of sorts then we’d never finish the conversation. It was weird and I don’t know how else to explain it but whatever it was I was determined for it not to happen again so I could just get at least one conversation out of him on the topic.

“Hey, I brought you some food.” I said walking into my bedroom and closing the door.

“Thanks.” Kellin said as I handed him a soda and a sandwich. I sat in my chair at my desk and turned around to face him while he sat on my bed, eating.

“So, I was thinking we could talk about the whole ‘you staying here and not telling your parents’ thing.” I said and he sighed putting down his soda.

“Vic, we already talked about this.”

“No, we try and then for some reason we don’t cause you start looking at me weird and I forget what we’re talking about because you started looking at me weird.” I said.

“A look? Really? I have no idea what you’re talking about, like really a look made you forget?” he chuckled.

“It doesn’t matter we’re going to talk about it now. I think you need to tell them, what if they filed a police report on you saying you’re missing. “

“Vic, they didn’t file a police report. Just relax and trust me.” he got up off the bed and walked over to me. “Look, everything is fine and we don’t need to tell anyone I’m staying here.” He said looking me in the eyes.

“See! That look!” I quickly got up. He looked at me shocked like he was surprised I knew the look. Then all of a sudden his whole demeanor changed.

“Hey, remember when we went to the carnival?” he asked getting closer. I started to back up.

“What does that have to do with what we’re talking about?” I asked.

“I was just thinking about when we were on the Ferris wheel.” He kept getting closer until I was at the edge of my bed. “And how I kissed you…” he slowly slid his arms around my waist.

“Did you like the kiss?” He asked but I couldn’t answer because I was already lost in beautiful blue eyes. Suddenly his eyes were getting closer and that’s all I could see. I closed my eyes as soon as his warm lips touched mine. It felt like absolute heaven and the longer he kissed me the more intoxicated I felt. He slipped his tongue in my mouth and pulled my closer then he slowly led me down to the bed and was on top of me. My lips started to tingle then go a little numb. I opened my eyes when he broke the kiss and it looked like everything was spinning and brighter. I laid on my bed, staring at ceiling. I felt so alive but yet so calm at the same time and I loved it. Vic started talking but I was kind of zoned out in my own little world, not really paying attention to what he was saying.

Kellin’s POV

I stood there watching Vic stare at his ceiling not really paying attention so I figured the little high he was experiencing right now would give me some time to figure out what to do. For some reason it was taking a little more effort and concentration to put Vic in a trance and I don’t know why maybe I’ve used it on him too many times but I’ll just figure that out later. Right now I have to go get one of the emere newbies to come talk to Vic that way he can stop worrying about my “family” being worried about me.
