Chapter 4

*Niall's POV*

I didn't know she had a boyfriend. Is that why she turned away when I tried to kiss her?

"let's eat and stop talking about this" she said. I nodded.

"are you sure that's all you wanted?" I asked pointing to her food. She giggled.

"yes I'm sure" she said in between hiccups. I chuckled.

She reached into her purse.

"here" she said handing me money.

"I don't need this" I said. She smiled.

"I'm just paying you because you paid for the food" she said.

"yeah I bought it for you. That doesn't mean you have to pay me back" I said.

"whatever" she said rolling her eyes.

"we've looked around the whole mall anywhere else you wanna look?" I asked.

"Claire's I want some 1D sunglasses" she said. I chuckled.

We walked past 4 different stores to get there. She got the glasses. I waited as she paid for them.

"let's take a picture!" She exclaimed.

"ok" I said.

She grinned. I made a kissing face towards the camera.

"I love it!" She said.

My phone buzzed.

Chris: love your kissing face ! :)

She sent me the picture. I looked at her. She hid her face blushing. Knowing I read her message. I cupped my hands on her face. I leant down to kiss her. Our lips met. Her soft pink lips tasted like her cherry lip gloss. Her hands were soon placed on my chest. Pushing me away. I frowned.

"err.. I have to go" she said running away.

*Chris' POV*

I ran towards the entrance. Hoping I'd get away. I stopped as I crashed into Liam.

"hey Chris where's Niall?" He asked.

"err.. Can we go home now? Please?" I asked.

"what's wrong?" Louis asked.

"n-nothing" I stuttered.

"hey guys" Niall said. Out of breath.

Louis grabbed my arm as we walked back into the van. We sat in the same places. I couldn't manage looking at Niall. I'm not upset about the kiss. It was perfect. I'm just confused. Why did he kiss me?

We arrived at the flat. I ran to my room. Falling on my bed.

The door knocked.

"hey little sister.. Everything alright?" Louis asked.

"yeah everything's fine" I said.

"you're lying. What happened between you and Niall over there?!" He exclaimed.

"nothing Louis! Nothing happened!" I yelled.

"well then why is Niall not acting like himself?! Why are you being so quiet?! What happened?!" He yelled at me.

"Niall's not acting like himself...?" I asked. Getting hurt.

"answer my question Chris" Louis said.

"he kissed me..." I whispered.

"HE WHAT?!" He yelled.

"don't get mad! Don't.. Just don't get mad at him please" I said.

"fine.. I won't get mad at him" I got more calm.

"Chris... Do you like him?" He asked.

"I don't know"

Me and Niall haven't spoken in almost a week. We've had some awkward hello's. That's all. I miss him. I do.

"hey babe, you alright?" Liam asked. I smiled.

"yes I'm.. I'm fine" I said.

I haven't realized I was starring at Niall while I let my thoughts attack me. He smiled at me. That's embarrassing. I felt my cheeks flush a shade of red.

"so what are we gonna do today?" Harry asked.

"well we thought we'd go to uncle Simon's house" Zayn said.

"I'll stay here... I have things to do" I said.

"me too" Niall said.

The thought of being left alone at the flat with Niall just brought my hopes up of taking to him again.

"ok well we're gonna go" Zayn said.

"bye" me and Niall both said.

"err.. I'm gonna be in my room.." I said.

"wait Chris.. C-can we talk?" He asked.

"yes?" I said.

"return to me" he said. My heart raised it's pace.

"w-what?" I said.

"I miss you.. Everything had been different without talking to you" he said.

"I miss you too... Look I didn't mean to run away" I said.

"why did you?" He asked.

"I didn't know how to react.. The kiss was perfe-"

"you liked the kiss?" He asked. I saw a little smile form on his face. I blushed.

"can I.." I couldn't finish my sentence.

I want to feel his warm lips on mine again.

"c-can I" he came closer to me as I kept trying to finish my sentence.

"ca-" our lips crashed together.

I brought my hands up to his hair. Tangling my fingers. I felt him smile into the kiss. He snaked his arms around my waist. I pulled him away giggling.

"isn't that what you wanted to tell me?" He asked. I felt my cheeks heating up.

"yes..." I whispered.

"you're not gonna try to deny it?" He asked.

"why should I?" I said.

"wanna watch a film?" He asked. I smiled.

"yes"

We decided to watch, Identity Thief. We sat on the couch. Cuddling.

I've developed these feelings for him. But of course, my brother Louis, won't accept that. But in some point, he's gonna have to accept it. I fancy Niall. The one who was my enemy. Who is now my great friend.

My phone buzzed.

Derek: babe I'm sorry.. Paula was just a different thing. I don't like her. Please take me back.

I went on my music. Turn Your Face from Little Mix. I sent him the song. (and you should listen to it)

Seriously? It took him a week to realize, she's not worth it? No way he thinks I'll take him back.

Derek: that's funny-,-

Me: just leave me alone. Bye

*Niall's POV*

Louis: what?

Me: do you give me permission, to date your sister?

Louis: yes..

Me: seriously?

Louis: yeah.. I like how you asked for permission.. You're the kind of guy Chris needs.

Me: so.. You really think she'll say yes to me?

Louis: I know she will
