Chapter 17

*Chris' POV*

"you're so sweet" I said.

A Thousand Years from Christina Perrie came on.

"may I have this dance?" He asked. Holding out his hand for me to take.

I smiled.

"of course" I said. Gripping his large warm hand.

We made our way towards the center of the dance floor. And begun to dance.

One of his large hands gently gripped my waist. The other entwined with mine. My hand reached up to his neck.

"I see you like my present" he said.

"yes its beautiful" I said.

"glad you liked it" he said.

I rested my head on his shoulder. As we danced.

This is the best birthday.

He made me twirl. And I went back for him to catch me. We stayed at that position for 2 seconds. He lightly kissed my neck.

We went back to our positions and continued to dance.

He twirled me again. Looking deep into my eyes. He smiled.

"I'll love you for a thousand more...." The song ended.

I pecked his soft lips.

"thank you for this party. Means a lot" I said.

"you're welcome. Anything for my princess" he said. I smiled.

"princess I've been meaning to tell yo-"

"hey Chris!" Danielle said. Interrupting Niall.

I gave him a 'sorry' look.

"hey Dani!" I said.

"sorry if I interrupted something.. But, Chris do wanna dance with me?" She asked.

I looked at Niall. He smiled and nodded. Signaling he didn't mind.

"sure babe" I said.

*Niall's POV*

Wow. The moment got ruined.

"hey mate" Zayn said.

"hey Zayn" I said.

"what are you doing?" He asked.

"nothing grabbing some punch" I said.

He nodded.

"did Chris like the party?" He asked.

"yeah" I said.

"are you alright? You seem, off" he said.

I sighed.

"its just, I was gonna tell Chris.." I said.

"about?" He asked.

"Zayn... I love her" I said.

"I do. I love her so much!" I added.

He smiled.

"maybe it wasn't the right time to say it, mate" he said.

"you're right... Maybe I should wait till we get time alone" I said.

"yeah... You should" he said.

"I'll do that" I said.

I looked into the crowd and saw Chris and Danielle.

Chris looked over and smiled. She blew a small kiss to me.
