Dear Phil,

Hello! My name is Daniel James Howell (but you can call me Dan) and I am eighteen years old. I don't know if PJ told you about me (he probably did, otherwise he gave me your address without your permission which I don't think he would do) but I saw my friend Chris writing to him and I wanted a pen pal too! So here we are.

I understand if you're not that interested in talking to me. I'm not a very interesting person. I like the idea of forming a friendship that doesn't require physical interaction. I'd really like it if we could talk.

Do you watch anime? I love it. I spend most of my nights at home on my laptop rather than out with friends. Do you like music? What are your favourite bands? I love Muse, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance...those kind of bands.

I've just finished school, and I'm so glad to be done with it. Although, I don't really know what I'm doing with my life. Since finishing, I've been in a permanent state of 'existential crisis'. Do you ever have existential crises?

I'm not a very social person, as you can probably tell. I'd take a night watching YouTube over a night out with friends any day.
