I'm in the eye of the storm. The center of eclipse. I can seen is his grin. Like molten rock on the side of a dark volcano, it burns bright orange against his black shadows. This is him. The Dark Lord. But as I said before this the eye of the storm. So surprisingly I don't feel any fear or nervousness. I am calm. But I do feel hunger. A hunger for revenge. Revenge for the men, women and children he killed.

I feel something. It every so lightly like a feather brushes my shoulder. But it is enough to let me know I'm not alone. At least not yet. I can feel his smile as he whispers in my ear:

"Kind of reminds me of my grandmother's old cloak. Old, black and ugly."

I smile. No matter what situation we're in Ashton always has time to crack a joke. Even if it is stupid.

There was a low rumble as shadow demons merged with the huge shadow. The battlefield soon empty of our former enemies. I guess the Dark Lord just needed to wait till the right moment. Well the moment couldn't have been more perfect. Our army is battle weary.

But he forgot one thing we're brave very brave. I look down at the sword in my hand. It's made of Elosine. A metal that looks like silver, though it has a soft aqua tint, it's very light but strong. Some how it shines brightly in the darkness. Frabin did a great job in rebuilding it. They said the Archangel himself wielded this sword in battle. They said the sword had broken in two after the Archangel's own comrade had tried to kill him with it. Frabin said it's stronger than before. If so I hope it's true .

I hope I can defeat the Dark Lord. But I've learnt (the hard way) I can't do this alone. I look at where Ashton should be standing to my right.

"Ready?" I ask barely able to see the outline of his strong chiseled features in the darkness.

"Ready!" he confirmed.

We've been working on this plan for ages.

I eye my target. A large red clump, right in the middle of the swirling shadows billowing around a slightly human frame. That was it's heart.

Ashton runs as far away from me as possible before shouting:

"Oi!" The dark lord turns. Even in his shadowy slightly human form he looks confused "Yeah I'm talking to you! You stupid old ugly cloak!"

Alright I know the plan is simple but the more complications the more of a chance it has to screw up. The Dark Lord seems rather...indignant. I guess he does have a sense of pride. Probably thinking he could easily get rid of Ashton the 'ugly old cloak' directs its attention towards Ashton.

But he has another thing coming. Because at that moment I lunge forward and plunge my sword through his shadowy figure. Wedged well into the heart. Using all my might I pull it out. The heart seems to shake, bend and brake. Blinding light seeps out from the cracks.

For a moment the Dark Lord's glowing red eyes bore into mine. And for that moment the shadows bring forth my worst fears and memories. But it's only short lived because then the heart explodes. Blinding everyone present for a good minute.

When my sight finally returns I see a grinning Ashton. Despite the evidence of death and destruction the scene around me is that of happiness. Everyone forgets their woes and is celebrating.

Briefly I think of all those that sacrificed their lives for the cause. I feel an emptiness in my chest. But then I feel a sort of warmth filling it. They will be remembered as martyrs. Their families let them go willingly. They will be proud. I sheath the sword. The victory feels surreal.

But then I feel arms snake around me lifting me off the ground. The world starts to spin. I wrap my arms around his neck and hang on for dear life. I'm starting to feel dizzy.

I'm border line nauseous when Ashton eventually does let me go. He's laughing. I haven't seen him this happy in ages.

"We won Celestia! We won!" He whoops.

Then it dawns on me.

We're Legends.

Just so you know I'm Sargun and I'm the author of Celestia, Ashton and Frabin's point of view. I may even do some "Evil People's" POV. Please remember to vote fan and comment. We'd love to hear from you guys.
