"When will you come back?" You spoke softly into the phone.

"Soon, baby girl. Just wait for me at home. I'll be done very fast." Metal bat replied.

Your cheeks  flushed to the colour of a peach at the word 'baby girl'. "Okay, be careful. I love you."

"I love you too, I really need to go now ok, bye."

You sighed as you ended the call to put the piece of electronic back on the table. It was getting really late already and you were worried that if he would get hurt. He's only 17 and he's a gang leader. You love him so much and he loves you a lot too, he proved it. But recently some of his gang members got stabbed and you were really scared that he would get killed too, you can't lose him, he's your everything.

Last month, one of the infamous gang kidnapped you to blackmail metal bat for money, you were petrified and scared to death but luckily in the end metal bat's gang was just right on time to save you. You didn't tell your parents about this, they would not let you to see metal bat ever again, because the moment they found out that he was a gang leader, they hated him being with you, they said that being a gang leader's girlfriend will not have a happing ending.

But they never got to see the soft, caring side of him. They have no idea how he treats his sister, or you, he turns from a breathing fire dragon into a fluffy little bun who loves you dearly. Unfortunately, after that kidnapping incident, you had a lot of nightmares, even with metal bat beside you.

"NOO!" you suddenly screamed in your sleep, causing yourself and metal bat to wake up in shock.

"Everything's ok. I'm here." Metal bat said right away, wrapping his hands around you, bring you into a hug.

"The same dream again?" He questioned with a worried look on his face.

"y-yes." you said tears forming in your eyes."T-Th-There was blood everywhere and-"

"Shh- everything is ok, it's just a dream." he said, trying to comfort you.

"Yea, dreaming about losing you!" you shot back. "I can't live like this, everyday staying up until 1 or 2am waiting for you to come home safely and calling you to hope that you're not covered in people's blood!" your watery eyes stared to turn even more red.

"I don't want to l-lose you..." you sobbed into his shoulder.

Metal bat waited until you fall asleep again. Looking at your now sweet sleeping face, he was so happy that you were his and thought he really need to do something, so he wouldn't lose you himself.

Metal bat was walking on the street alone, he stepped on a flyer that gave him the urge to pick it up and read it.

"Hero's Association?" he spoke to himself. "What kind of shit is this?"

After going through the flyer, he made up his mind. No turning back. For the future with you, he's willing to give up anything, even his own gang.
