I walk outside, get in my car. I drive by this park and see Conor's car. I make a U turn and go back to the house.
[Meanwhile ]
Conor's P.O.V.
I pull Michaela up and we hide in a bush. I see Cole's car park, him step out and walk into the house. I grab Michaela's hand and lead her to my car in the park. I start driving.Michaela lays her head on my shoulder and starts sobbing. We get home. I open the door and sit on the couch. Michaela raps her arms around my neck and sits on my lap.
" Thank you. " she mumbled in my ear.
" It's no big deal. "
" How did you know how to do that?"
" When I was younger .... It doesn't matter. " I said.
Michaela's P.O.V.
I lay my head on Conor's chest. I was about to lean in and kiss him when the door slammed open.
