Mary's P.O.V.
"And so am I," he says. I feel everyone's gazes shift from one teen to the next as the try to figure out who belongs to who. I shift uncomfortably under their gaze. I see Raven do the same out of the corner of my eye. I turn around to face them, considering I'm at the front of the group, and look at each of them. Alex, Neal, Raven, and Jack. I can see in their eyes that they know what I'm about to do.
Before they can do anything to stop me, I turn to face my brother. I step out of the small crowd. "Mike!" I shout up to him, so I can be heard over the wind and the ringing coming from the magic, "I'm giving you a chance to take that amulet off, and we can all go home."
"HA!" he says, "Go home. Go home where your praised for every little thing you do. Where you're better than everyone else at everything! Smarter. More athletic. Stronger magic!"
Now I'm confused. We have always been equal with most of those things, except the athletic part, and he has way better control than me.
"My whole life I've been pushed to the side as 'Mary's Brother'! You've always had special treatment while I sit on the sidelines and watch!" he says, his rage growing, "And now your afraid that now I have better magic, STRONGER magic, and you want to take it from me! But I won't let you! I'll prove to all of you that I am more powerful than anyone else!" with that he disappeared in a cloud of smoke, a mixture of black, purple, and red.
"What just happened?" said Neal's mom, fear in her voice. "Mike's going to take over the world," said Raven. We stay silent.
"Is... Is it true?" Said Snow. "Is what true?" asked Alex. "What he said. That your our children from the future. Is it true?" Emma said. "I honestly thought you would figured it out sooner," Raven bluntly said.
"Well.. Yeah. I mean, I figured out that Neal was my brother and Alex was Cinderella's daughter, but...the rest of you..." said Emma.
Silence.
After a few seconds, I teleport some yarn and a crochet hook into my hands. I also conjure up a cheep foldable chair. I sit down and start making... something, hoping it will distract me from our current dilemma. Everyone is either ignoring me, lost in their thoughts, or starring at me out of confusion and curiosity.
"Well, I know none of you are my child, because I can't have kids," said Regina. A smirk crawlers on to my face, "Let's see how this plays out."
Raven 'playfully' stares daggers into me, "Thanks bestie! I really owe you one."
I reply to her in a similar tone, "oh, I know you do and I expect nothing less of you!"
"No..." I hear Regina say in disbelief. "Are you going to explain or shall I?" I ask. Raven takes a deep breath, "Technically, your my aunt, but you pretty much adopted me to protect me from my real mom. And no, I am not going to explain anything else, because that's just a lot of info and 'SPOILERS'. So... um... Yeah... Mary, what are you doing?"
"I am making a-thing-that-will-be-of-use-at-some-point-in-the-near-future," I say, examining my progress. "Either that or it's just something to distract me from the cold, hard reality that is my life," I say bluntly, topping it off with a smile.
I hear annoying, sarcastic clapping to my right. "Mary, one of two bipolar twins that would destroy the world with a flick of the wrist," Jack says, very sarcastically. I don't even look up, "You know, one way or the other you're going to stop talking. Whether that's going to require me cutting out your tongue or not is up to you."
"Well, someone's in a bad mood," he says. Half a second later, his tongue is laying on the ground next to my feet. I hear his gagging as a smile of contentment crawls onto my face. "I tried to warn you... I said I was going to do it and I did," I say.
"She is definitely Rumplestilskin's daughter," hear Snow mumble to the other adults.
"Mary, we don't go around teleporting people's tongues out of their mouths," Alex says as Neal puts Jack's tongues back in his mouth. I just roll my eyes. "Great," I hear Jack complain, "Now everything tastes like cement. Thanks a lot!"
"You think I care?"
"Is some one in a bad mood?"
I can practically hear the puppy dog face in Ravens voice. "You expect me not to be?" I reply, starting the second row on what ever it is I'm making. They remain silent. I stand up, leaving the yarn in my chair. "We're stuck in the past. My brother is possessed by some dark magic that know one seems to know about. And, to top it all off, everyone's lives are now at stake."
I start marching toward the forest. I hear them calling after me. I feel someone grab my arm, forcing me to stop. Jack steps out in front of me. "Mary, If you do this it could change the future forever," he states, his ocean blue eyes starring into my hazel ones. "And if I don't, their might not be a future to get back to," I say. I step around him. "Join me or stay out of it, but you're not stopping me," I say speed walking to the place where I can feel Mike's magic coming from.
I might not know where that is, but I do know that I'm going to get everyone home, including Mike, even if it means I die.
