As the car pulls into the venue's parking lot everyone was standing outside. It seems we are the last ones to arrive. I climb out of the car and walk over to Ezra who is waiting for my hand. Everyone looking at us while we walk towards the big group of people waiting to take pictures. After spending 10 minutes having photos everyone walks inside to a beautiful room: fake snow on the floor, trees covered in snow, the walls looking like the sky snow falling down, tables with little ice sculptors, it was stunning. Me, Ezra, Hannah, kaleb, Emily, Matt, spencer and Toby choose the table closest to the food (obviously). The music is Christmas based: all I want for Christmas is you, winter wonderland, let it snow etc.

At the end of the dance Ezra says he will take me home in his car. But he doesn't take me home.
"Ezra. You just missed the turnoff"
"I know"
"Where are we going?"
"There's something I want you to see"
"What is it?"
"It's a surprise"
"I hate surprises.........just tell me"
"Nope"
"Pleeeaassee"
"If I told you then it wouldn't be a surprise now would it"
"No it wouldn't"
"Exactly"
"Okay so how far away is this surprise? Do I need to phone home and say that I won't be home tonight or tomorrow or ever?"
"Stop worrying, I've spoke to your mum about this and she knows when you will be home now just sit back and enjoy the ride"
