The things I should have said

Hospital

The next time I woke up I was laid in a hospital bed my mum and dad sat crying by my side
"Aria, your awake"
"Yeah I'm awake"
"I'll go get a nurse" my dad said walking out the room
"Aria we were so scared"
"How long have I been asleep?"
"3hours"
"3 hours?"
"Do you remember what happened?"
"I was in the car on the way home with Ezra and we were arguing and now I'm here, Where's Ezra?"
"There's something you should kno..."
"Hi Aria I'm Megan, your nurse I've come to check your progress now your awake"
After 5 tests the nurse finally leaves the room and I ask my mum what she was about to say
"What should I know mum?"
"Ezra got to hospital 1 hour after you..."
"Can I see him?" I say sitting up my mum puts her hand on my shoulder pushing back down
"Hunny, Ezra's mum came in when you were asleep and told us that when they got Ezra out of the car...."
"What mum?"
"He wasn't breathing, they tried to save him but.... Ezra died in the crash"
I couldn't talk, I just started to cry and I couldn't stop all I could think about was the last thing I said to him. It was all my fault I started shouting at him and he couldn't concentrate on driving. It's my fault he's dead. ITS ALL MY FAULT.
