When dinner time came, it was ate in silence. Sarah ate and then went to bed. Annie didn't understand. She heard the phone and jumped up to get it.
"Hello? Consento's residence."
"Is this Annie?"
"Yes." said Annie. Sitting down.
"I need to tell you something that you may never tell your mommy ok?" Said the mysterious person.
"Ok." said Annie taking a drink.
"Its me Cole. I am actually your...... your.......your father." Said Cole fast.
"What?! Does Mommy know?!" Said Annie is a high pitched voice.
"Yes don't tell anybody. Meet me at the park tomorrow and I will talk to you ok sweetheart?" Said Cole sincerely.
"Yeah sure. Bye." said Annie writing it down on a piece of paper."
"Ok bye sweetie. Go to bed."
"Yes." and with that Annie hung up. She went to bed and slept until nine in the morning.
When she got up she knew her mom had to deliver today so she made herself some breakfast. Annie got the cereal and went to Mrs. Youngs. Annie loved Mrs. Youngs. She was an older lady in her forties but was a good listener. Annie Stepped inside and sat down on the bed. Annie knew Mrs.Young was is the bathroom getting ready. Annie smiled and went to the guest bedroom to get ready. She pulled out her best dress that was only for spring and her favorite pair of boots. Annie put her dress on when Mrs young came in the room.
"Well ladybug. Where are you off to today?"
"Well cherry i'm going to the park for a little bit."
"In a dress Annie?" Said Mrs. Young.
"Yes Cherry. I am meeting somebody there."
"Ok Annie but you better be careful how you sit. Don't play in the mud either." Said Mrs. Young And walked away.
Annie pulled her last boot on and walked out the door just on time she thought to herself. She walked for a good 10 minutes before reaching the park. She saw Cole sitting on a bench. She walked up and sat down.
"Well don't you look fancy." Said Cole twisting to see Annie.
"It's a special occasion. Tonight Cherry is taking me and mama to dinner."
"Who's cherry?" asked cole.
"She miss young. She lets me call her Cherry. I get a new dress tonight. Cherry think I need some more clothes."
"Well sounds like fun. Let's go home. I'll give you a piggy back ride!"
"Ok I guess." said Annie Getting on Cole's back.
They arrived at the house and went to the barn. Annie saw her mom and smiled.
"Mommy!" Said annie hugging her.
Sarah kept working but stopped to hug her. Sarah knew Cole was there. She knew what he'd done. Sarah Said hello to Cole and left. Sarah went to her room. She grabbed a black and green dress for her and a gray dress for annie. Sarah got ready and had her hair done too. Annie came in and Cole was with her. Cole nodded. Sarah knew what he was asking so she mouthed yes. She was happy Cole was trying to help. He grabbed Annie's dress and Annie and left. She heard Both of them laughing. Sarah got her heels on and went to see. When she got in there Annie was dressed. She smiled and held up Annie's best shoes. Annie grabbed them and put them on. Sarah looked at Cole. He was smiling and Helping Annie. He looked at Sarah and started to speak.
"Is it alright if I come with?"
"Of course." said Sarah smiling. She hugged Cole and Annie and went to finish getting ready.
Sarah got her shoes and dress fixed.and grabbed her purse when she heard the door. Yep Cole answered it. Mrs. Young smiled and hugged him. She must've been speechless. She picked up Annie and swung her around. Then she left with Annie to the car. Annie came back in and Sarah went out. Cole sat down and smiled. Annie Sat down on his lap. Cole looked at her and smiled. He started to speak.
"Annie sweetheart. I have to go. But let me tell you this. Just believe in yourself and you'll have the power to fly"
