Chapter 47

Josh pov -5 months later-

"Josh, did you read this email?" Miranda called from the living room, "which one?" I chuckled and walked to the couch and sat beside her "we got the venue for august 22" she smiled "three more months" i smiled back "now to make and send out invitations" she chuckled. "Im sure this is the place" we heard talking outside our door. "I think we better go help those people" Miranda chuckled "shh maybe they'll go away" i smirked. Soon enough there was a knock on the door. I sighed and stood up as Miranda giggled and followed me to the door. "Hell- mom, dad?" Miranda looked at her parents confused, so did I. "Told you Allan" Annie pushed past me and hugged Miranda. "We heard about what happened" Allan sighed "what happened?" I questioned "Miranda going missing" Annie said "that was like 4 months ago" Miranda stated "wanted to give you time to heal" Allan stated "I'm healed" she held out her no longer cut arms and lifted her pant legs "we have perfect timing then eh" Annie joked. "Actually no, we were just about to leave for a bit" Miranda lied. "Why don't we come with you?" Annie smiled "we're going to the bar" i said. "We'll come with" Annie smiled "we need to go change" Miranda sighed and took my hand while walking to our bed room. "You text Matt, ill text Ian and Mike" she pulled out her phone and started texting, i did the same. After a minute we started to get changed, i put on my 'drunken uncle' shirt with my blue jeans, Miranda put on her 'fancy as fuck' crop top and her black ripped jeans. "Ready for hell" she asked with a slight chuckle "oh yeah, the guys are defiantly going to enjoy this" i chuckled and wrapped my arm around her waist as we walked back to the door. "To the bar" Allan smiled as him and Annie opened the door and walked to the elevator "yay" me and Miranda both cheered sarcastically.

Once we got to the bar Annie and Allan walked in behind us "hey guys" Miranda smiled as we found the guys at a booth "hey" they all responded "so this is the band" Annie snuck passed us and sat in the booth. The guys looked both frightened and worried "guys... These are my parents" Miranda sat in the booth beside Matt and i sat in on the other side of her. We all sat in silence till a waitress came over. "What can i get you?" She questioned "5 canadians and whatever they want" Matt pointed to Miranda's parents "just a water please" Annie said watching Miranda "Jack Daniel's with coke" Allan said. "Alright coming up" the waitress smiled and walked off. "So... Why are you here?" Miranda asked "thought you guys might need help planning the wedding" Annie smiled "actually we're almost done, we just need to find tuxes, her dress and the bridesmaid dresses" i smiled and wrapped my arm around her shoulders. "Oooo! Wedding dress shopping!" Annie squealed "Kill Me Now" Miranda mumbled as the waitress came back with the drinks.

"Can i sneak out quickly?" Miranda asked and i stood up to let her out of the booth "ill be right back" she walked away to the bathroom. Once she was out of view Annie spoke up "she doesn't love you" when she said that Mike started choking on his beer and Ian spat his back into his cup. "Excuse me" I said "she doesn't love you." She stated and took a drink. "And how would you know, you haven't been apart of her life since she was 21" i scoffed "I'm her mother, i know these things" Annie smirked. i cant believe this... Miranda has been stringing me along. She never loved me, i was just her little scam to get her into music. I looked over and noticed her coming back. I stood up to let her back in her spot "What'd i miss?" She asked "i gotta go" i said and turned and left.

Miranda pov

"What happened?" I asked "nothing, i think he's just having second thoughts about marrying you" my mom smirked as she drank her water "what happened" i turned to Matt "do you love him?" Was all Matt said "yes, with all my heart" i answered truthfully "she said you didn't and Josh is pissed at you or her" Matt pointed to my mom. I turned and glared at her "what the fuck is wrong with you" i spat as i stood up and ran outside. His car was gone. Argo he left. "FUCK!" I cussed as i started to walk home, its only 11 fucking blocks...

Im about 3 block away from the apartment building and since I'm having great luck it started raining. Just great... I started to jog the rest of the way to the apartment.

When i got to the apartment building i was dripping wet and i kept getting weird looks from everyone in the lobby. I got in the elevator and pressed our floor number and waited till the doors opened. Once they did open i speed walked down the hall till i got to the apartment. I pulled out my keys and unlocked the door and walked in. "Josh" i called as i walked in. "Joshua" i walked towards our bedroom. When i got into the room Josh was laying in bed "Josh" i said softly as i walked around to his side "what the fuck do you want" he growled glaring at me "first off lose the tude there buddy. Second i just walked in the pouring rain just to make sure you were okay. Third whats wrong" i stated "you lied to me, this has all been a lie." He sat up "what did i lie about?" I asked "you don't love me, never have, never will" he stated staring at me "i do love you Josh" i said walking in front of him, he stood up once i got closer "no, don't pull this shit. You've been lying since day one" he spat and stormed away from me "why the fuck do you think i don't love you! Ive loved you since day one, when i woke up in your arms i knew i loved you" i said walking after him "your mother told me you don't love me, she obviously knows you better then me" he turned around "Don't listen to her! For god sake Josh! You know me better than anyone else!" I said as tears started forming "thats what i thought! But i guess i don't know anymore" he glared at me "fine! You know what, if you cant get the fact that i love through that think skull of yours, you must not love me very much" i turned around and ran back to our room and went to the closet. I pulled out a duffle bag and started throwing my clothes in it. Once the bag was full i grabbed a jacket and threw it on and walked back out to the living room where Josh was watching me. I slid off the engagement ring and set it on the small table we had at the end of the hallway "what are you doing" he questioned me looking hurt. "The weddings off, we're done i guess. Ill be back tomorrow to get the rest of my things" I sighed as i walked towards the door with the bag over my shoulder. I slid back on my shoes "Miranda" Josh said softly "i love you Josh" i walked over to him and kissed him one last time before i walked out the door and left.
