"bethany! Stop come here!" Micah yells after me.
"WHY SHOULD I? " I ran as fast as I could down the road putting my earphones on.
"I'm sorry!" He yells after her while running. "of course. she can't hear me." he muttered.
I got tired and sat down at a bench at the local park. "ugh I should never had told him anything." I thought to myself "what a fool am I." I say, before I started bawling.
*Wakes up*
"fuck" I say waking up
"Bethany? Are you okay?!" Micah says sitting up watching me
"Huh? Oh, uh.. yeah I'm fine" I say looking at the clock. "ITS ALREADY 6 A.M.?"
"Yeah. You seemed like you were having a nightmare.. are you okay? Do you want to talk about it?" Micah says pulling me onto his chest.
"No.. well its nothing."
"Are you sure?" He plays with my hair.
"It was sort of just a flashback to the time I ran away from you."
"Oh yeah, when you told me your feelings.. I still regret that day. You told me how you felt, something I was waiting for my whole life."
"If you were waiting your whole life, why did you reject it?"
"I was scared that if anything happened between us, it'd ruin our friendship."
"Oh."
"Yup, I wish I hadn't let you go."
"Why?"
"Look how lucky Guhn is to have you."
"I guess"
"The way you smile, the way you laugh. Everything is perfect. I was such a wimp to not tell you my feelings first. But once you did I didn't want to mess our friendship up. But by doing that.. I lost my chance with the girl of my drea-- she fell asleep while I was pouring my heart out."
