your laughter is blue.

your tears are droplets of glue.

i know your skin,

i know it's too thin,

for i can see your bones sing

as your lungs fill and air rushes in.

your mind is tangled up in posinous ivy,

which won't fit into my poetry,

it grew and destroyed the prettiest parts of your head,

you said it made you feel half-dead.

do you remember me?

do you remember who we used to be?

does the stardust soaked sky,

make you feel a crooked desire to fly?

does the piercing smell of gasoline,

remind you of who you used to be

at seventeen.
