It was August 21st, 1967. Alice Tankian Had given birth to newborn. It wasn't her first child, but she acted as if he was. At first sight of her baby, she grabbed him from the doctors arms and gave him a kiss on the forehead. There was blood all over him, but she could care less. She thanked the doctor, he was really kind. Alice admired the way the he carefully wrapped her baby in blankets and treated him as his own.
Giving birth really had Alice exhausted. "Honey can you run down to the first floor, I saw vending machine there, can you get me a water?" Alice asked her husband Daniel.
"Sure, no problem babe" said Daniel as he patted his pockets.
"Oh.. Crap, I think I forgot my wallet at home" he said as he was turning his jacket inside out looking for it.
Alice had woken up at 2:30 am screaming in pain that previous night, which let her husband know it was time for her to give birth, leaving him no time to grab anything but his jacket and keys to rush her off to the hospital.
"I think I can help" said the doctor as he picked up a black Jansport backpack in the corner of the emergency room.
He reached into the first zipper and pulled out a 5$ bill
"Here you go" he said as he handed it to Daniel
"Thanks a lot, I appreciate it I really do" Alice said to the doctor as her husband started to walk out the room headed to the 1st floor.
"No problem, it's nothing really"
"You just gave birth, it's the least I could" he chuckled
As he started to walk out the room after the nurses took his place comforting Alice and helping her up, Alice stopped him
"Excuse me sir!, what's your name?"
"Serj" The doctor replied
"Serj Johnson"
"Serj.." Alice whispered under her breath. She liked the name
