How System Of A Down came to be

Daron Malakian

It was 1974. Daron Malakian was a quiet kid. He attended an elementary school called Scarlett Grove. Daron Didint talk much, he was 7 years old and was in second grade. Daron liked the color black. He owned a black backpack with golden animated musical notes. He always wore his favorite black north face with the tightest black jeans. He was a quiet boy with a dark mind. He didint talk much of have many friends, but he didint care. In school he spent most of his time drawing. He had a very creative mind and loved drawing. When not at school, Daron spent most of his time in his dad's home office. He would watch him write music and compose them on his piano. Daron could sit for hours watching his dad work. Daron had the biggest brown eyes you could imagine. They sparkled as he watched his dad's swift fingers make tunes of the piano. Daron always told his dad one day he would be like him. He admired his dad. He had taken care of him ever since his mom died giving birth to him. Darons dad wanted a bright future for his son, which is why he dedicated most of his time teaching Daron guitar.
