A year full of Hope

The time came when Serj and Shavo were off to highschool although, None of them new each other yet of course. After the 2 hours principle speech in the auditorium, all the incoming freshmen were introduced to their home room. It was Mrs Kendall's 1st period biology. Serj and Shavo shared her class. Serj was a simple guy, he was very advanced in school for his age and he always had an interest in politics, meanwhile Shavo on the other end... Shavo spent most of his time skateboarding, smoking pot, but hey, who says bad asses aren't smart, Shavo always had his work done on time and received decent ass grades. There was no way these 2 would have imagined being successful together. Shavos group of friends looked at serjs group as the geeks, and serjs group looked at shavos as the pot smoking jocks. It was like this for 2 years. Junior year came by fast, this was when the school introduced a new elective, guitar class. Shavo being a Part time Dj and Bass player, thought this was a chance to actually have fun in school. Junior year enrollments came by around July. Shavo made sure guitar class was on his schedule for this year, as for Serj, he had completed his major mandatory classes and was ready to graduate a year early. Serj was going to graduate Junior year. All he needed was to finish one last year of Advanced Honors Physics. So guitar class was a "why not" to him. He had already learned guitar since a child, ever since his dad gave him a guitar for his 8th birthday. So came September, back to school days. Serj would finish off the year with the year with his same routine, hanging with his algebra club, studying, and playing guitar. As for Shavo, it would be back to smoking pot and getting through the year. It would be another year to get through, or so they thought.
Came around junior year. A year full of hope.
