I've always loved camping, even as a young girl I used to love doing it with my older brothers and my dad. My mum and younger sisters were never into it though, so now that my brothers are in college and my dad had passed away, that left just me to go camping.
I wasn't scared, I'd been in those woods loads of times, I knew them like the back of my hand... or so I thought.
I'd explored almost ever trail and everywhere that I possibly could. Almost.
There was one trial if never been down, and I intended to travel it today. My dad had always warned me about it, said it was too dangerous to go down, and being the obedient daughter I was, never questioned it.
That changed today, when I decided to venture down and I hadn't realized then, that seeing a mysterious mansion that summer down a forbidding trail deep in the wilderness would change my life.
