So this is my new story. I was so happy when I thought of it. I am addicted to dark stories. This is basically the base plot for most dark stories, so I thouht for my first it would be safe to just do this! I promise this one will turn out right, and I'll update a lot! Anyways, enjoy! Comment/Vote/Fan all that good stuff!

Half of me was utterly depressed and the other half was flipping out. It was my first day at my new school. I hated being the new girl, but I had to a lot, because my parents are international real estate agents. Were. Past tense now. They retired early. Let's just say my parents have money. I mean don't get me wrong, they're sweet people, sometimes, but I just don't like them flaunting around that we're rich. Most of the time my parents are gone doing things. They liked being gone. They loved adventures. I guess I know where I get it from. They finally settled here. This is my senior year though so it's weird. Guess where this one is? London. I'm from America, and royally confused. First of all, the accents. It kinds of makes me even more lonely than I already am (considering I'm an only child) being that no one here has an American accent. It's almost as if they speak a different language. Also, I'll never get used to the driver's side of the road or the car. Only plus that lies here is that I am one year away from drinking.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Lysis. Lysis Tylers. I always thought my name was funny. Never really liked it all that much. I've got blond hair and green hazel eyes. Not anything special, just me, and that's the way I liked it. As previously stated, I come from America, more specifically the beautifully southern state of Georgia.

I picked out a cute outfit like I always do for the first day of school, because the rest of the year I get kind of lazy. I pulled on a sweater and jeans and stuck my feet in a my favorite pair of boots. Not anything too fancy, yet still casual. Just the way I liked it.

"Lysis!" my mom called from the downstair's kitchen. "Honey what do you want to eat? You'll be late if you don't get something to eat now! Get some granola or something! You're getting a bit big on the waistline."

I scoffed silently.

I ran downstairs to grab a banana, and some bacon she made for my dad. I basically threw the bacon down my throat. I gulped down a glass of water, and ate the banana on the way out the door.

"Thanks mom! Love you!" I said whilst still chewing.

"Honey! Don't talk with your-" I cute her off when I closed the door. God she gets on my nerves. "Don't do this, don't do that! It's not polite! Meh meh meh!" I said mimicking my mother in a whiny high-pitched voice.

I threw my bag and notebooks into my car. I opened the door of my mint green VW Bug and clicked the directions of my new school into the plastic keypad on my GPS. It wasn't too far away just a 15 minute drive away. I turned my car on and I was off to my new school. As I pulled out onto the road, I noticed the clean, kept area and as I kept driving it slowly turned into a darker, more beat-down area, but then it cleared the closer I got to the school. I guess every area has a bad side; I was closer to it than I thought.

When I got to the school, I had to take it in for a second. I was really nervous. Okay, Okay. It'll be fine. You'll make awesome new friends, I thought to myself. Oh my god. Calm down. You've done this a thousand times. You can make it or break it.

I walked into the school with a feeling of awkward stares and eventually found the office. The receptionist lady look old and mean. She clearly had been working with teenagers too long.
