Ch. 2

"Anne, I love you so much" Louis said as he got closer to my face.

"I-I love you too." I said as I leaned in to a kiss.

I could feel his hot minty breath on mine. Our lips brushes, and- 

*BEEP BEEP BEEP* *BEEP BEEP BEEP* 

I jolted up from my bed. I wiped cold sweat off of my head. I held my hair back and breathed slowly in and out. I was close to having a panic attack. I tended to get those often, especially when I didn't have anyone to calm me down. 

In through the nose, out through your mouth. In and out.

Eventually after a little while I was able to breath normally. I looked st the time. SHIT. I was going to be late for school if I didn't hurry up. 

I fixed my hair into a bun really quickly, and brushed my teeth. No time for breakfast this morning. I knew I would regret it later. I applied a thin line of eyeliner and just a dab of concealer here and there. I smoothed some chapstick onto my lips. I threw a gray oversized sweater, pink skinny jeans, and black shoes. I grabbed my bag and ran out the door. I started my car as fast as I could and sped to school. I couldn't be late for school on my second day. 

I parked my car in the back of the lot, because there weren't any spaces left closer to the school. I still had a few minutes to get to class, but my first class was all the way on the other side of the school. I started speeding off to class staring at the time on my phone when I stumbled into what I assumed was a wall.

"Good job Lysis." I mumbled to myself.

Why was the wall warm? Oh shit.

"Oh my gosh, I am so sorry, I thought you were a wall. I mean- you aren't a wall, um, I meant you have really hard abs- oh wait-" I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks, "Sor-" I looked up. 

Louis.

I tumbled several feet backwards band started to zoom past him.

"Where ya goin' babe?" He asked with a laugh under his breath. 

"Excuse me?" I said defensively, "First don't call me babe, and second none of your damn business. So if you'd excuse me."

"Oohhh. I like your feisty side." He said with a wink. "But if you're looking for first period, it's right here."

I felt the heat rise to my cheeks. "" I said.

"Wait, I didn't see you in here yesterday, but I saw you before school." I said confused.

"I skipped." He said with a shrug. 

"Oh my gosh. Is this teacher ever going to let us in?" I said impatiently. 

"I don't think so. He has a habit of not letting in late students." He said.

"What?! I can't miss a class on the second day of school! I've never missed a class for being a little late! What if I miss a very important note that'll be on a big test?! I'm-"

Louis cut me off.

"Lysis. Calm down. It's one class. So what do you want to do?" 

"What do I want to do? I want to get in that class room!" I said angrily.
