I woke up feeling like shit. I looked out the window and it was raining. Rainy wet, and cold day.

Great. An awful mood to go with an awful day. I thought to myself.

I jolted up remembering where my car was.

"How am I supposed to get to school now?!" I scream. My hoarse voice echoes throughout the house.

Yes, I do talk to myself. I have to have an intelligent conversation now and then.

An awesome idea pops in my head. I dial Maggi's number. I really hope she lives around here.

The phone rings for a little while until Maggi picks up.

"Hello?" she says.

"Hey! Maggi! Can I ask for a favor?"

"Sure. What's up?"

"So... I left my car at the school. It kind of wouldn't start up, and I walked home, but anyway, I need a ride to school. Of course it's completely up to you, and you don't need to feel pressured or anything! And you don't have to if it's out of the way." I started to get a headache when the memories of yesterday started to flood into my mind.

"Lys, calm down. Of course I can. What's your address?"

"I live at 9 Old Town."

"Wooooaahh. I didn't know you were that rich!"

"Uhm, yeah.. I don't really like it though.." I shifted uncomfortably.

"How could you not like being rich?! I wish I was!"

"It's hard to find good friends.."

"Oh. I understand."

She thinks she does, but she doesn't really. After every school, when people hear I'm rich, they come swarming, and let's just say they aren't awesome people.

"Yeah."

"Anyway, I'll be there in ten. You better not make us late."

"Trust me, I would never do such a thing." I say laughing. Shortly afterwards we hang up saying our goodbyes.

At least I knew Maggi was my friend. I could trust her, but not many others. Including Louis. God, that kid just makes me so mad. Is ruining people's life a hobby of his or something? I mean, yeah, he saved me and shit, but I could have totally taken care of that guy, I was just waiting for the right moment to do it. Right? He pisses me off they way he thinks he can just have anything he wants, well he will not have his way this time. I won't be one of his little bitches. I don't know who he thinks he is toying with people. It's just not right. I just hope the rest of this week goes by fast. I don't want anymore problems with him.

I'm ready by the time Maggi pulls up. She honks her horn really loudly outside of my house. I run down my sleek oak stairs and grab a bagel on my way out the door. The door slams behind me. I look up to see Maggi in an old Barracuda. I gape at the beautiful car.

Maggi honks the horn to snap me out of my gaze.

"LYSIS! Stop staring and start walking!"

"S-Sorry. It's just so beautiful I want to cry." I said.

"Dude, I know, right? It's totes beauts." She said in as preppy American voice.

"Totes adorbs."

"Come on lady! We gotta go to school!"

"Okay, okay! It's just so marvelous." I said drooling once again.

"Just get in the damn car Lysis, or I'll drive off."

"Fine! I'm getting in!"

I jump in the beautiful car carefully not wanting to damage a single thing.

"So what's up?" Maggi asked.

"Nothing actually. My parents are out of town for a while."

"Dude, I wish my parents were out of town! I wouldn't have to deal with them. Oh my god, they're so annoying"

"I don't know, sometimes I wish they spent some time with me. They're always gone. It's like they don't care about me. I mean I was just an accident so I could see why they wouldn't care about me."

"Lysis, I'm sure they care about you, they just like going places and-"

"I'm holding them back, I get it."

"No, that's not what I meant. I meant they don't want you to feel crowded or they just don't want you to feel that you have to follow them. Maybe they just want you to be your own person. Something like that at least."

"Yeah right. I mean if they really did, wouldn't they love me for the real me? I mean I have to put up a fucking act just for them to say I love you. I can guarantee that if I was my true self in front of them they would disown me or hate me. Probably both."

"Of course on the other hand I don't know anything, and I'm stupid, so you shouldn't listen to me."

"I'm sorry Maggi, I didn't mean it like that. It's just I get so frustrated with them sometimes. Thanks for trying at least. You're the first. Plus, you give me rides. In beautiful cars."

"Haha, you're welcome Lysis. Glad I could help. I think."

"You did."

We pull up to the school, and there's my car sitting at the school. Thank God.

"Awesome! it's still there." I say getting out of the car and running to my baby.

"I'll see you in class Lysis!"

"Okay! See ya!"

I grab my keys out of my bag and unlocked my car. After school I was going to see if it would start. Maybe I was lucky. It started.

I got out of the car and looked puzzingly at the car. I circle it and see a note tucked in my windshield wiper.

I saw your car wouldn't start and you run off. I felt bad so I fixed it. I hope I don't seem too creepy. I'm in your first class, that's how I know you. Don't worry, I'm not a stalker. Haha. Just a guy that's handy with cars. Hope it works. Have a good day. :) -Luke H.

I tried to think of a Luke I know in my first class. It was only the second week of school. You can't blame me.

I started walking to my class hoping Louis wouldn't be there. I walk quickly to class hoping the rest of the day would go by just as quickly as I was walking. I get to my class without any interruptions, thank god. I sit down in my seat.

Great. A substitute teacher.

The old woman started calling names out, pronouncing then awfully. One stuck out to me. Luke Hemmings. I turned around to see a super cute boy with beautiful dirty blonde hair and dazzling clear blue eyes. He was just beautiful, and very Australian. He just looked at me and winked. I smiled back then turned around in my seat. That was probably the best thing that happened to me the whole time I've been here. But there's just one thing to ruin it.

Louis.
